No soft touch whatsoever. Even the door arm rest is hard plastic now. The door upper side and center arm rest have cloth or leather depending on the variant.
Build quality seems suspiciously reasonable for atlas. Even checked under the hood, didn't see any bad welding issues.
Rear brakes are drum brakes. Rear drum brakes isn't the reason for poor braking on the city, the extremely sensitive abs system and very narrow 175mm width tires are the reason for its poor braking performance. Unless atlas brought a newer and better abs module for 6th gen, the braking performance should be the same as 5th gen, or maybe even worse due to the higher ride height.
Build quality seems a big step above 5th gen overall. But it is to be seen if actual delivery cars will have the same build quality.
