Sales are affected, and Yaris just got launched.

You'll see the actual impact 1-2 years later when more and more people get to know how 5th gen city is so bad and a rip-off. So, massive decline will come in a couple of years.

Till then sixth gen should be here to give some relief to Atlas.

I was looking for a sub compact sedan and had no option except Yaris. I know at least a couple of people who were considering to switch from city to yaris but stopped after rumours of 7th generation launch a few days ago.

Defiantly, there are more people purchasing the Yaris now instead of City (current). And the main reason is that people are tired of the old Honda city shape. That doesn't mean that Yaris is better than City. They just want a little change/switch.

There are many people simply as time for Yaris is 4 months and CIty is 10 days also people know City is hot cash so there is no need to go for Yaris .By the way forum represents 1% of buyers mostly spoiled brats like us ,In reality the other 99% is very different buyer

I have sold my City 2013 and bought Yaris 1.3 Ativ Cvt.It was a very conscious choice after weighing the pros and cons.Before I go into quality comparison, straight and simple fact is that if Honda brings in the 6th generation then Yaris is safe.However if 7th generation of City is launched that surely will dent Yaris sales.Keep in mind and its also my assessment that City will be expensive than Yaris from the looks of it.Actually it may even dent Altis 1.6.However Toyota brand has been a safe bet and will continue to sell.As regards Yaris comfort and drive its way superior than the 5th generation City.Its smooth, quiet,softer suspension.The engine response is much better than the Corolla Xli/Xli 1.3 because of better weight/power ratio.I have now tested Yaris at all speeds.No problem with stability and road clearance.The raised suspension is not liked by many but majority will prefer it.A 16ins.rim/tire can resolve that issue if somebody is too concerned.

Lol.. it's like Honda shared some date for launch which is now delayed. Read my post and some comments above .. I mentioned August 2021 few days ago.. All these web pages just take information mostly from Pakwheels forums or social media pages to have just some content on their webpage/ social media . No car maker will ever tell officially what they are launching and when.. so we cant expect that from Atlas. Obviously we all make opinion on basis of certain assumptions.

Its not coming in Pakistan at the end of 2021.. record my words.

It will not come before Europe and other ASEAN countries and there its scheduled for early 2022.

It will launch first in US, then Europe, then Australia, ASEAN and then Pakistan.

I don't see next generation Civic in pakistan before mid 2022. Atlas is assembler NOT and produce Using CKD CKD kits. We are dependent on other markets.

So , you mean if tomorrow a 11th Generation Civic is coming in US, Honda Atlas will launch it at the same time?? It never happens like that.
