Has less features than yaris

Literally the only features it doesnt have are VSC and a good MID display. Everything else is significantly better than Yaris, including the amount of cabin space. You should go visit a Honda dealer and see the car. Yes the car is expensive, but it is not lacking in features, which, let's be honest, the Yaris is.

There's also the acoustic windscreen, fully loaded audio system and speakers, while tweeters are an option for aspire. Yaris when compared directly to the city model with the same price in general has more and better features overall, city has better cabin space and looks. Better engine too in the 1.5 variants.

Agreed on this one. For some reason I like the meter cluster in city more than yaris even though city one is outdated

Although yeah I do agree with the new city feeling like an overall much better car than the yaris. I went to the dealer to cancel my booking and checked out the new city. Then went to the nearby toyota dealer to check out the yaris as I was thinking of switching to it. Yaris I don't know why looks and feels like a much worse car. That's why I decided not cancel my booking. Yaris is a great car on paper, in real life its just straight up unappealing.

Plus the yaris cabin is really claustrophobic feeling. Even suzukis, besides alto and mehran, feel more spacious on the inside. Plus the interior, similar to the exterior, is not very good looking either.

Yaris is a great car on paper

City is better car on paper with all its engine frills and fuel economy. Yaris turns out to be more practical and safe, more practical from price pov

Why everyone comparing City with Yaris keep forgetting "acoustic windscreen"? May be they have no idea about it? Or it is not even a feature?

I have. Its the most underpowered car I have ever driven and the 2nd worst car I have ever been in, second only to the mehran. Drove the ags alto on test drive, absolutely horrifyingly underpowered and an absolutely awful transmission. Cabin felt pretty cramped as well. But then that was 2 years before I was in a yaris, so I may not be remembering it correctly.

Mtlb kuch bhi...... On paper Yaris is 33mm wider then CIty. As per your observation Yaris is smaller then City. Quite good analysis

Space optimization bhi koi cheez hoti hai. No one is denying yaris is overall wider (also don't forget yaris wheelbase is much shorter), yet the interior feels more cramped. And I am not the only one saying this. Various other members are as well and Indian reviewers have officially stated that as well. Honda's space optimization for the city's interior and boot have always been excellent and this continues to be the case.

Its atlas we are talking about here. They literally call chromed handles and shark fin antenna as features. If there was acoustic windscreen, they would have definitely mentioned it.

Offtopic: Well i own a vxr manual and i totally disagree with underpowered part. It is adequaltey powered for its body weight (48 bhp in 650 kg) and has got much better rear leg room than yaris. People even compare its leg room to corolla.

It is there probably and they didnt advertise it. Other frill you are talking about add to looks maybe thats why they are heavily advertised

I don't know, my corolla 1.3 which I always consider highly underpowered, felt like a blessing and almost a sports car in comparison after driving the alto. That is why I recommend old used corollas, cities, civics over these altos, even as a hater of used cars. These cars are horrible right from the get go brand new. No offense though, it is good that you are enjoying yours.

Sir just because you test drove an already abused and unlubed unit, it doesnt justify all your claims. I would take alto over used corolla / city 1.3 any given day because of its fuel economy and practicality in city traffic

Offtopic again, earlier ags alto unitsbhad horrible ags jerks and lags due to incorrect grade transmission oil being poured into them. Drive a new one these days and you will surely feel the difference.Also take 4 people with you to judge the cabin space better

Good to hear that they have resolved those issues.

There were 3 people in the car. Was 2 years ago so I may be misremembering the cabin space and assuming it to be low from the exterior looks, I'll take your words for the cabin space. If that is true, very embarrassing for the yaris.
