Sir,
Although I am not a mechanical engineer but
VSC or VSA as Honda calls it; is a very different thing. It has nothing to do with enhancing road grip.
"Artificial electronic grip"... I have never heard this term in my life... I even googled it lol.. there is no such thing as "Artificial Electronic Grip"
In very simple terms you can say VSC or VSA is a system of differential auto braking of tyres individually with input from complex sensors within the tyre hub assembly which send continous input to the VSC Unit (an ECU essentially) which helps protect the car to maintain a straight trajectory through differentially braking the tyres individually using ABS in cases of sudden turning to avoid spinning, turning over etc etc...
Now a general observation: Paishgi maazrat kay sath
After visiting these threads frequently I have finally learnt the meanings of the mahawra
"Ishq andha hota hai".
People have endlessly defended the missing VSC using completely mind boggling, irrational, made up explanations...Some even said that VSC isn't even needed in this segment of cars.
Now either they are blindly in love with Atlas or they are simply in denial phase.
In all honesty, Atlas just plain cheaped out and didn't provide VSA, HA etc in Pakistan to save money putting peoples lives at risk.
I seriously don't understand this... no matter how grounded it feels.. why wouldn't Honda city spin out or become unstable on sudden turning?
Please give a scientific logic...
Fan boys are persistent that VSC isn't a major feature and it's not needed...
But wait.. even the manufacturer thinks that Vehicle Stability Control System is a life saver.
That's exactly why they offered it in GM6 globally although they called it VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist). (Searched archived specs of GM6- as it's a globally discontinued model)
In my opinion Honda Atlas CFO/CMO miscalculated.... they could have easily missed out on climate control, Rear AC Vents, seat height adjuster etc and priced the aspire atleast 3.5 millionbex factory.. because it's pretty evident that Pakistanis would still have bought it just out of blind love..
Iski leay to kehtay hain na..
Ishq da koi mul nahin...
