Not really. 660ccs are only reasonable if you get a huge tax incentive like in Japan. For countries like ours small cars should have 1000cc at least because of no huge tax advantage. Alto 660cc is unreasonably slow while wagon r feels pretty reasonable for all purposes. Plus if those small engines come with an auto it's an even bigger problem. I've driven an alto ags and city 1.2 CVT, both cars are absolutely horrible to drive and alto especially feels dangerously underpowered in cases of steep climbs.

lets raise a voice for those who have booking but delivery date`s in 2022 and will be effected by this increase in general 35% is paid by customers already why they are charged ? i have written to Honda and request all to do so .If there is an increase it should be 65% of value not 100%

1.2 will always give lower mileage than 1.5 bhai. Its a proved fact. Companies show smaller displacement to play with mind of people only.1.2 is the worst buy in city hands down

Time will tell bro. Different people have different opinions and people who have uploaded comparison videos in youtube show 1.2 has better mileage. Its bz body size is not as big as corolla. Ur formula can b applied on toyota corolla. 1.3cc corolla has less average as compared to altis and grande.
In City case i dont agree as the body size is smaller as compared to corolla. 1.2 cc should give better mileage as compared to 1.5

I don't know why but Elantra looks cheap and does not have the premium look and feel that Civic and Grade seem to have.

Even in old city, 1.5 was always better than 1.3. It snot rocket science. Brio engine can never suit city.

Its all plastic like city no premium feel. Its cheaper worldwide than civic/rolla for the same reason. Some early buyers keep on giving tasalian to themselves. Honda/toyota user cant go for elantra in senses

Have u driven old city? 1.5 was far better in drive and also better in mileage. This is always the case. Some third class reviews cant change the core logic sir

Nai Yar, there sale is increasing, now delivery time is 40days. I hope I can get it earlier.. shortest delivery out of other options in similar price bracket is one of the major reason I opted for Elantra.

Not at all. You r totally wrong. My old city 1.3 M was giving 17-18 and my colleague 1.5 M 14-15
This is my personal experience as I was checking the fuel average frequently

My dear yes i have driven both 1.3 M and 1.5 M old city. Gari chalany ki tamiz honi chahye bus. Always drive with soft foot. These r real pics. Within city and motorway drive. 1.5 was more powerful in pick as compared to 1.3 mileage of 1.3 was better

I had both variants. I don't depend on friends to calculate mileage or get reviews .
1.5 drive was way way better and mileage iiwas always better as well. Furthermore, why no where else city was launched in 1.2l? Are Pakistanis more intelligent than rest of the world

This instantaneous mileage means nothing. Secondly 1.2 cvt will have huge power loss due to cvt as well. City only makes sense in 1.5.1.2 is as useless as something can be. Better get a yaris

I can show u civicX showing 19 kmpl on meter . Rpms is the key to consumption plus many people here know driving as well. As per ur comment, it seems like no one else drives like humans

People have different driving habits. Thats not my headache how they drive. Some people do not even get more than 12-13 on 1.3 cc. I had 2016 model and kept car with utmost care. Literally just like zero meter even now. Not a minor scratch inside or outside. It all depends how one keep and use car. Thats how i keep and drive and get the best of the best mileage.
These r not instantaneous. These r my everyday average and got same for almost 5 to 6 yrs. Thats why i kept city for good mileage and again bought a city. I know how to get good mileage out of 1.2. I will share at the right time.

If u have booked 1.2, then there are endless justifications sir. Many of us keep cars brand spanking new but that does not make 1.2 consumption better than 1.5 bhai. People enjou driving as well, not all hypermile all the time

For the statement you made "1.5 will ALWAYS have better mileage" NO. It won't always have better fuel economy, it will have on highways (100+kmph)and in city with someone who likes to enjoy hard drives (relatively heavy foot)
I've tested it, if driven carefully with soft foot, following speed limits in city (its mostly 40-60 for my commutes) the 1.2 cvt definitely does SLIGHTLY better.

For everything else you may very well be correct, it might not be fun or value to money. But it WON'T ALWAYS return lower FE.

U drive between 40-60
And i drive between 60-80. This is what the max speed we can drive in city where traffic is always stuck
At this speed 1.2 will always give the best of the best average
