With this price, Honda Atlas will soon be packing up their plant from Pakistan.. 6M to 7M range is pretty high and lots of option in this range. Sportage, Tucson, X70, Glory will be 1M lesser in price will give big hit.. cars like Sonata, Haval, Corolla cross, Honda insight will be a better buy in 6M plus range.. civic xi, can only do decent sales in 5M to max 5.3M range.

Current civic turbo is for 5M, what should we expect for new civic?? 5.5MPKR, that may be the only difference between CBU and CKD..

As there is no NA engine option so it may be close to 5 mils.

Sir sun rahay han bilkul, but previously there was no competition no other options. Market has changed. Honda doing pretty bad with current sales numbers. City was not selling as they expected ( thanks to Altas brilliant marketing and pricing guys). Let see how things will turn. Honda Altas guys being bit lucky I guess.
Previously Suzuki Ciaz could have capture it's market place but Suzuki launch it at insane high price. Later KIA could have capture City market place with Stonic, but they launch it at highly overpriced..

Not lucky , its our automarket players strategy. They never compete with each other. Kia picanto could have been lauched at lower price but they did not , same is the story with other cross overs as well.

In my opinion - chinese brands will never give a tough time to oldies. Atleast they need many many years to change mindset. I dont think these companies have margin to launch at a low price so did Honda for City. United bravo and pearl prince should ideally be selling at a price tag of 7 to 8 hundred thousand to capture Alto base model customers which is not a case. It shows they cant sell at low price. Same goes for Ciaz and Kia. Why they dont sell at a very low price I will the first yo buy. Things r expensive and none of the businessman want to sell things at insane price tag otherwise none will buy it. They have spent billions and obviously they r here to earn something. People still like to buy samsung and Iphone although there r so many competitors. If these companies wind up their business from Pakistan then what options we will have??

Speaking of City's marketing and launch, it's interesting to see they haven't learned their lesson and following the same strategy with new Civic. Apparently "pre-booking" has started at dealerships, with no revelation of features, engine options and prices. Investors probably booking by truckloads. By the time they officially launch in May/June, genuine customers will get delivery timelines of 2023 probably.

so city users. what is the overall feedback. Since my plans got rekt because of the new financing rules by state bank. I still have 4 months to raise money for down payment. Is city a good option. Ya kuch aur hi dekh lo. Used civic maybe or wait for new civic and hope for a miracle i can afford xD

If its going to be your only vehicle - Altis 1.6 hands down. Get a new or low mileage 19/20 model. Will give you so much more value for your money in terms of size, drive and quality of interior.
And also better in resale compared to a city.

If resale doesn't matter, and can digest below average looks - save the money and book a Saga.

I personally felt 1.5 CVT standard city is an ideal choice.

When leasing 1.5 standard and aspire have roughly 3 to 5 k difference in 3 years financing.

1.6 Corolla is only 62k more pricer then asprie cvt ( if talking about invoice value).

You do miss goodies like push start, climate control, cruise control, leather seats, cvt transmission.

But you get a Corolla as trade off.

City feels premium out of all saga, Alsvin, Yaris and City.

But even with the basic 1.5 CVT You miss some goodies which competition is offering for lesser price.

It all goes down to personal choices.

As @AABBDDuullaahh said if this is your only car get a Corolla adding a few bucks.

I know some people who would buy 3 or 4 Corollas but won't get a City

I personally would go for a City if I already had a Corolla.

Bro go for city. If u afford civic u can go for it also. Depends on ur daily life. City is a best family car and new shape on Pakistani roads. I never got tempted for corolla although price was not an issue. I wonder people living in urban areas what do they like abt corolla. In big cities corolla size is big issue on our narrow roads and narrow streets where no car can go except mehran. There r lot of parking issues. I go to office and drive 95% alone and people like me always go for city who drive mostly alone. Good fuel economy is a big advantage of City as gasoline prices will go up and up. Modern looks and modern interior looks. My personal experience new City is best car and I would always prefer zero meter rather than 2nd hand corolla and outdated shape.

Freaking civic for 6 to 7 million. Who do they think they're fooling? It's a CIVIC lol. One of the smallest sedans in Honda's lineup. Clowns.

It's a CBU unit which is imported so ofcourse it will cost 60 Lac with import duties according to that registration verification online sheet. That one's a Turbo 1.5 due to dual tip exhaust and it looks pretty loaded as the rims and black door handles leans us to believe its an RS from thailand but then lane watch camera isn't present on the side mirror. Locally assembled Civic will ofcourse be cheaper, I expect around 5-5.2 Million but again it doesn't make any sense to me as everyone will then go towards crossover category.
Although crossovers cannot compete with sedans for their drive and power. Toyota Indus will also follow 5 Million mark with their Corolla Hybrid version.

There is like 100 percent import duty on CBU so the actual thing wont cost this much.

After keeping and driving my 1.5 CVT for 1500 km over a month I’ve figured that ground clearance is far better than previous generation, I went smoothly over bumps in my village, those previously use to be a nightmare.
The fuel average is 12-13 within city and 16 on long.
The issues I found is little rattling sound in dashboard but this is after tracker installation, another fault is whenever I use horn after turning wheel it triggers source button from steering audio control.
Other than that drive is absolutely smooth in its class, transmission is quick and feel in control. Installed reverse camera from market so far.

brother have you found 195/60r15.. i have heard at tyre point price of mirage is 11k and michelin 17500/- Rs.. this size only available in these brands
