i have 2 concerns with 195/60r15... one.. will it bulge out from mud flaps/ car body, when we are looking at the car from rear. 2nd.. will it touch mud flaps or sidewalls during max steering turn.? thanks

I checked with tyre point, they had Mirage in stock, but no Michelin''s.
Price was as you quoted.
Honda have promised car delivery on the 28th, so will check again.

As regards 195, touching the body or mudflats, the guys said that they have put in several 195/65 in cars without any issue, so I presume 195/60 will be OK.

If the car do get delivered next week, will keep updated here.

Any one who can tell me about the cabin noise? Is Cabin insulation of Yaris and Altis 1.6 is better?

I will reconfirm but the developmental products imported for the local production like the one Atlas imported are expemt from duties. In other words these CBU units are not for commercial sale and only for benchmarking the domestic model. So, duties are waived again I will check with the my contacts at FBR.

The CBU unit Atlas imported has a declared value of $33763. With 1.5T the regular duties are 123% means add additional approx $42000 on top of it. Well the camouflaged vehicle has the price of 6 Million which coincides with the $33763, no duties.

Well, if we agree and further confirmation/ clarity is required about the camouflaged vehcile, is it a CBU or CKD. I have asked my contacts to give me some info about this spotted unit.

Or , should we say it is a CKD and Atlas reported it at 6 Million at registration ??

From my observation on the mentioned vehicles - Cabin insulation on stock tyres: (1 being the most insulated)
1- Altis 1.6 [keep in mind, altis comes with yokohama from factory]
2- Yaris Ativ X
3- City 1.2

There's not a lot of difference between yaris and city apart from the weird and amplified tyre noise in city.
Cabin insulation with city on CC6 tyres: (1 being the most insulated)
1- Altis 1.6
2- City 1.2
3- Yaris Ativ X
City and Yaris have almost similar damping. (on some drives one feels better while in some conditions the other feels better)

yes corolla has always been said as the better option but i'm a honda guy and besides i dont want the 1.6 4 speed auto. if it had cvt then probably i would go for that.

i would maybe go for yaris only because of the price difference. so that i can save money while having decent economy as well.

the scenario is that back then i could hardly afford city. i've never bought a new car so i wanted to get the one with all the features hence was going for aspire. now in a few months i might be able to afford civic too. a used 10th gen or maybe the new one depending on the pricing.

personally i love the 10th gen civic. and the new one is pretty awesome too but this will be my daily driver and only car so maybe city is a little better for that in terms of size and maintenaice. not cost of maintenance but you know civic civic he usko spotless rakhne ka keera hoga. city feels more like a daily driver

any idea when toyota plans to launch the hybrid corolla. now that is something that i might be willing to go for if the price is decent.

civic ka i heard they are planning to launch in feb, is that correct?

i am getting this from alot of people, Some friends who bought 1.5 ATIV i asked them, Why didnt you get a Corolla instead ?

They all reply we needed a smaller car. Yaris / City are relatively easier to maneuver

Well, there is alot of news out there that Indus will launch Hybrid version in E210 12th gen Corolla and they're investing money for assembling Hybrid Corolla but we will see how it turns out. Knowing Honda Atlas, I think they will also do the same pre-booking thing with Civic like City without revealing specs and price, some people are even speculating that they have started this practice in some dealerships for delivery in April-June.

Glad to know majority of the people have sense and they know compact city and yaris r better for daily drive and parking issues and so on. Bro u follow corolla group for that. I m sure there must b one. This is city dedicated group. If someone has witnessed new corolla CBU on pakistani roads u will probably find there. CIivic CBU has been seen on roads which means its coming by June 2022.

Yar jonda release after Toyota usually. Indus is currently setting up the hybrid vehicle shed. So maybe late 2022 they will launch corolla and the some months later atlas will remove a few features compared to indus and launch civic at 10% higher price

I must say Honda Point, Lahore is probably the worst dealership I have come across
Booked my cars through City Sales previously, they were a charm to deal with.

I'm getting a bit agitated now coming close to 31st December.
Have visited them a few times during last 10 days and it's always coming in 2 days / 3 days.
Don't get any response when try to contact via telephone.

This City launch was probably the worst in history
7 months gone and still no car
I won't be surprised if they ask for more money, if the delivery is spilled into January.

City Sales, Honda Point and Honda Ring Road are terrible. The only good dealerships in Lahore are Honda Gateway and Honda Fort.

Kisko gari nae milly? In karachi dealers are craving for buyers to shift Dec invoice in names. Since they have to clear December stock.

Honda won't reinvoice December cars in to February.
