It doesnt matter as other automanfacturers will increase prices too. Anyway the only varient which slightly justifies its price is 1.5 standard .

1.5 Yaris is the only yaris worth buying, 1.3 is nothing but wasting money. Bigger engine is not the only benifit 1.5 offers, seats are better, has acoustic windscreen which adds alot in silent cabin, moreover you get climate control, smart entry and push start, much much better speaker setup, MID in dash which no other car in this segment offers etc.

1.3 is so sluggish... it feels like the old gli, sabr azmati hay, better opt for 1.2 city over 1.3 yaris, feels alot better.

Maybe I just booked my car through the wrong dealership
Yesterday upon visit, they again promised for today, which we all know is not going to happen.
Most likely it will spill into new year.

I do not have a problem it being delayed by a few days, I just do not want to pay anymore for that already overpriced car.

Obviously fresh bookings are for march and april

But dealers are eager to get away with investor cars who are standing on open invoices.

If you get your car delayed into next year that is obviously good since you will get year 2022, And most probably your price would be locked.

Are the fresh bookings being made for March April?
That would be a disaster for Honda.

If I remember correctly in June 2021 they were booking cars for March / April 2022.
So have the new bookings completely stalled then and it's only people like me who pre booked the car prior to launch still waiting for the cars to be delivered.

News for all people who will receive their cars in 2022: You will have to pay 85,000 PKR more on your car. This number may increase depending on your delivery time.

the mini budget is on hold, since its a proposed budget, it will take a week or 2 to implement.

For now City is 3387 + 50 WHTax Karachi 3437 + aproxx 85k Registration.

If FED goes up to 5% instead of 2.5% add another 80/85k

afaik. its only if you are registering car with different name than on invoice or transferring car within 3 months of buying

Something similar happened to a person i know. They booked on 17th May, got date for March 2022. Their dealership put the booking in the system late on purpose. We are collecting all such people who have faced this and now have to pay the increased price.

Same happened with me booked on 17th may but booking in system was done on 19th with jan22 delivery
