Can WHT paid on purchase of car be adjusted in registration of new car??
Can it also be claimed for refund??
I am not talking abt adjustment in income tax deducted at source.

Add me to the list. I booked on 17th may, the first date. The payorder got submitted 5 days later. Original delivery date was October but then changed to Feb. Full original 29.55 lakhs amount was paid in October to get in November but still nothing from the dealer. They're now claiming no 1.5 production in December and earliest I can get is Jan.

My personal recommendation to anyone looking to ever buy a honda, never ever ever for the love of God get anything from honda point Lahore.

Withholding/advance/income tax can only be adjusted in your annual return. You cannot adjust equivalent amounts in registration or any other process.

Its really shame, all money is going either to Govt or the car companies.
delay due to one reason or the other, sufferers are buyers.
I got booking in 1st wk of September and got delivery date of 30 April 2022, almost 8 months and now i will be subject to all price increase.
Its jungle law everywhere, no one is bothered.
it was all my jama poonji and now i m getting burdened for al price increase.
I think we all lodge complaint in PM citizens portal. point should be registered somewhere by someone.

Add me too, payorder handed over to dealer on 17th May, processed on 18th and given delivery 31.1.2022.

Contanted and filed complaint to company. but there reply was you can cancel booking if you want

The government should at least enforce no cancellation charges. The way it's going you'll probably get hit with 2 to 3 more price increases till April.

How is that that the people who booked in september last year are getting the same delivery month who are booking now?

Less or almost no new bookings thats why. Excitement was just in the start. As prices have gone further up may b thats why no one is booking

Hi everyone. I need your valuable recommendations on purchase of City Aspire 1.5 cvt for family use (mostly my driver or younger brothers). Im upgrading/downgrading from Grande 2015 as its expenses are getting out of hands now. Would this be even a wise decision? Are there any quality issues going on with this model as Altis had before with civic X? Or any other things that I should keep in mind before finalising it. TIA

May I ask what sort of expenses? Most cars just need oil and filter change and mileage based maintenance/ inspection. Fuel economy is another issue which would be slightly better in a smaller car like the City.
