Bro u r planning to spend like 4 million on car and u look so much worried spending on reverse camera worth 5k from honda. Fitting is already there in the base models. Honda Top of the line already comes with camera. Will u decide to buy car only on the basis which car is giving preinstalled reverse camera?

Thanks. Actually I was just confirming if it comes preinstalled with reverse camera or not. Actual decision is based on more important factors ofc.

Currently debating between proton saga, Honda city and Changan alsvin. Really like the price of saga.

Saga will make market in future. Its a high quality built car. Malaysian mehran. May be in an year time when they will start delivering more frequently. Looking at the dollar rate this will the best choice in future with trunk

Only top of the line variant City Aspire 1.5 have complete package of accessories like Reverse Camera, Fog lamps, Leather seats, Auto Climate control etc,
For those who are looking for a base variant, Honda offers mandatory optional accessories like reverse camera and fog lamps, leather seats etc. so if you are booking a Base 1.2 variant you still have option to install a factory fitted Genuine Reverse cam and fog lamps by paying the differential amount at the time of booking, remember that optional accessories are installed by Honda Factory and not Dealership so it will not void warranty.
All the variants of Honda City comes with standard LCD screen and DRLs however reverse cam can be selected as optional add on, this features is big plus in Honda vehicles only,
Toyota does not offer any factory fitted optional accessories in base variants.

Honda 1.5 CVT is recommended with optional reverse cam in just 6000K, Hyundai Elantra comes with reverse camera but my choice will still be 1.5 Aspire CVT. Due advance Gearbox, better fuel average, better cabin aesthetics

Elantra is 6 speed AT with a 1600cc engine it should deliver better fuel economy.

Plus driving a CVT isn't really fun compared to Automatic transmission.

Altho I recently purchased a City Aspire, but I got it because we already purchased a Corolla Grande.

If we didn't had a Corolla in home my choice against Yaris 1.5 CVT and City Aspire would be 1.6 Corolla or Elantra.

I would choose the bigger car instead of options.

Keeping in mind with City driving City, Corolla, Elantra return also similar averages around 10 kmpl.

People claim Elantra 2.0 to do 15 and 17 kmpl as well.

The Elantra 1.6 international fuel economy numbers don't look too good. 6 speed auto should be more fun to drive but CVT will definitely be more efficient. Plus the power difference between city 1.5 and Elantra/corolla 1.6 is barely 6hp, but the weight difference is around 200-300kgs.

I once drove Elantra 2.0 and yeah it was definitely faster than my 1.5 CVT city, but the difference wasn't that big. Plus the transmission felt less responsive on kickdown than the CVT. I'm pretty sure Elantra 1.6 will be slower and corolla 1.6 is definitely slower as seen in YouTube vids.

City has another advantage of more legroom in the back compared to Elantra. Elantra 1.6 and corolla 1.6 are too feature barren, they don't even have cruise control and I think not even retractable mirrors.

At current prices the 1.6s don't make sense at all, imo it's better to either go for aspire or ativ X and get an efficient and well featured car, or go for Elantra 2.0 or corolla 1.8 used for around the same price to get an overall much better car.

one should either go for grande or a well maintained Civic X if not satisfied with City aspire, but Elantra 1.6 and Altis 1.6 old transmissions are a turn off. Would rather go for a low mileage civic X, the car's value in Pakistan isnt going anytime soon despite new gen

I had insight news about april delivery and learnt that Honda had suspended/ stopped production of City Apsire CVT in April due to unconfirmed reasons and now starting mid May onwards. so all April deliveries are bing started in Mid May and delivery will be 3rd/4th week of May onwards as promised by Honda.

I'm not sure about 1.6L Elantra, but these days I'm using 2L Elantra as a daily runner. Also within city and long drive both fuel average is excellent. Alhumdulliah car is serving well. Good fuel mileage, excellent acceration and handling. Only issue is back seat leg room for a tall person like 6' or more. I'm 6'2" and if I sit at back seat keeping my driver seat adjust for myself, my legs touches the front seats. Comfort way better than civic, but less than Corolla. Handling somewhere between civic x and Corolla. I would rate civic x drive and handling +1 But stability and drive is way better than Corolla. As a package and features Elantra was a good buy.
I have kept civic x, Corolla Gli 2015 and Altis 1.6 FL and city aspire CVT (only 2months but drive 5k plus) and sharing my 1st hand experience.
Elantra transmission (6 forward with triptronic) is very responsive and having 2L engine, it's faster than oriel and grande both. Having 4 drive modes, may be u have tested it on eco. Do test it in sports mode.

Fit and finish is much better than Honda and Toyota except for paint job. Paint is better than Honda but lower than Toyota. They need improvement on paint job.

BTW as per my discussion with dealership sales guy from 2 different showrooms and 2 different cities, Elantra 1.6L is not doing very well. Still most people are going for 2L. I think if u are considering 1.6L than Altis is a better option.
