Base model Elantra will be a better option compared to an older gen city. And it cant cost more than a civic so 3.5 million is a good guess for a mid variant

When 1.6 altis in 3.3 million, base model of 1.6 elantra should start from there too, plus the one introduced in Pakistan is one gen old too.
Hyundai should place its pricing carefully otherwise elantra will have the same fate as Tucson which had far less sales than sportage.

They will never price it same as altis they will make it 2-3 lacs expensive imo the features will be the only thing that can save Elantra but it’s only an opinion it might come cheaper

In no world can someone sell thar elantra gen above rolla. .5-1 lack below spec to spec, maybe. But above rolla? This elantra gen was not pretty enough and had dozens of cosmetic changes every uear.

an another unofficial and unconfirmed news . There is a discussion ongoing about GM6 and GN1. GN1 is a possibility " as of now" but the final product with very basic feature will place it above the competition because of very high cost of development. This is a major issue at this time. Atlas is still working on GN1 along with GM6. As of now there is uncertainty. GM6 can start assembly right-away using the same line as BRV and the current City. I have asked another contact of mine to get more latest information and I will update as soon as I have some feedback. BTW, Honda Atlas did engage someone for making GM6 bumper molds so, there is a lot of confusion. I hope we hear something +ive regarding the GN1 soon.

i would go from my Altis 1.6 to Elantra InshaAllah if they do not launch a GN1 city...would never buy GM6

If you can wait till September then Honda city, Otherwise Yaris minus the shape is a great car.
Alsvin lumiere looks promising aswell if your comfortable with the "chinese" tag

if a chino and jap are at the same price bracket, go with the jap. Alsvin seems a fine car but has a very unknown powertrain, the engine and gearbox are not known/used in any other car as per the limited info available. so buying it is a hail marry. Changan dnt even put the same transmission in their eado where they use an aisin built AT.

i would never suggest anybody having 2.6 million budget to go for a base model honda city or yaris

they are giving 100,000 Kms warranty....not read about any issues in the transmission system of Alsvin online too.....

you dnt read about their transmission errors as its a very limited sale car. WHy would they put the same 7 DCT in every other car but not the 5DCT even in their own cars?
what is blue core is it any valve lift thing or new injection?

Then Possibly GN1 would be in Turbo 1.0 to Compete with Altis 1.6 & Elantra

GM6 in 1.3 & 1.5 normal aspirated Engines to compete with Yaris
Chinese brand to kisi khatay ma hi nahi ata 🤷‍♂️
