Hi Everyone,

My Aspire got hit last week with some pole extension while reversing. (Don't rely on just reverse camera )
Tail light got broken rest all saved Alhamdullillah. Although car was insured but not getting any insurance benefit as none of the lahore dealership has the tail light available. So insurance is also not beneficial due to current situations and i will not continue my insurance next year.

So i am still driving with broken light. What would you suggest you

1) Should i install aftermarket back lights (Audi Style checked on seghal motors) or
2) Check with other cities dealerships?

Try to find OEM lights. Aftermarket light covers usually fade in a few months or years depending on the quality.

Also, Talk to your insurance to reimburse you, And you can purchase it from any third party open market or scrap yard.

This is a very common practice

My trunk same side was broken as bike hit. I installed a new one as car is brand new and will match now. I suggest u to get a brand new from company. Come on its 5 million worth car so dont think much to save few thousands. Check honda avenue. They had readliy available mine trunk left light. They might have.

Thankyou All I got tail light from Honda Gujranwala at price of 13.5k. Only 2 dealerships had the availability (2 or 3 pieces)

Honda Avenue Price 16000/-

So please drive your car carefully as parts are not easily available due to current economic situation. Also companies should more focus on parts now instead of cars because of zero sale these days.

Why there's price difference between the dealerships?

Forget about body parts, every day parts like oil filter are not available these days. I was not able to find Alto's OEM filter from 2 dealerships in my area. Nor do they had fuel filter. The situation will remain as it's until economic situation improve and LCs open permanently.

Also companies should more focus on parts now instead of cars because of zero sale these days.

Agree to this point. Instead of importing CKDs, companies should import parts whenever they get approval for limited imports. Government right now allow only limited quota after every couple of months.

Focus on local production of small spare parts.

They should be made to use guard filters just like they are bound to use general tires.

Guard should make OEM quality too.

More companies will step in gradually.

you can buy light from anywhere and present the receipt to insurance company, these days with increasing prices of spare parts it must to get car insured.

Whats the oil price?
i got to know there also is a filter that has to be replaced and people forget to do it. whats the price and did dealership change filter aswell?
Did dealership follow the correct temperature to fill the oil and oil quantity at?
