Approximately, Suzuki has produced 1859 units of the upcoming Swift so far. Whereas at the time of the launch of Alto, they merely produced 500 units during the first month (before the launch).
Keeping in mind that this car is robotically weld, the first car in Suzuki local lineup.
If we look at the historic data of Swift production & sale on the PAMA website, they used to produce less than 500 Swift each month.
This clearly shows that they want to mass-produce and sell this vehicle.
On a side note, the parts for then newly-launched Alto were delivered to dealerships 3-week post-launch. This time, they have delivered the parts of an upcoming car 2-week pre-launch.
