JDM Altos are coming with both AGS and CVT and so far heard no such bad words in Pakistan from the users. No idea about intl versions but CVTs in the JDM versions are robust.

I asked dealership when i went there in morning, booking in on full payment, delivery will be in around April 3rd week. One thing that was discouraging was that this price is still subject to any change.i mean One pays full payment and still live in tension about price increase. Not fair.

On road will be around 29.70 including registration and wht. Insurance will be around 55k (at 1.9% of 29 lac).

If I'm not wrong the JDM /Japanese import units had different alloy wheels.

What we get in Pakistan is a combination of parts sourced from different countries.

PAk Suzuki mostly uses Indonesian parts. When I got my brand new WR in 2015, it got many parts from Indonesia and its build quality was very good than the latter models.

It depends,

Alto had Japanese parts (since not available else where)
Wagon R has Indonesian Parts (Since not available in Thailand or Japan)
Cultus has Thailand parts (Since available in Thailand and we cannot import from India)

With import data shared by @fazalwahab11375 parts are sourced from different countries with different chasis codes, Most and major is from Thailand

Suzuki Pakistans regional head is Suzuki Thailand / Ciaz was imported from thailand, APV from Indonesia Jimny comes from Japan.

I second that, our WagonR 2014 has done 110,000 kms and still going strong, no vibrations or sounds, really impressed with the interior quality. don't know about the later models quality

Official booking not opened but prior booking with 10,000 PKR as Token (Refundable) with NIC copy to dealership, so company assign quota to dealership according to prior booking requests.
After 8-10 days, as soon as booking will be announced, customer would have to pay full amount PayOrder (No partial payment but 100% including Taxes/Registration).
Customer have option to cancel prior booking and get his Token payment back

WagonR we having in pak is a purely Indonesian model and not available other than in india and pakistan. no scene of Japan in it as per my observation. we bought one brand new in aug 2021 and the ecu as well as the radiator fan motor clearly writes 'made in Indonesia'. i belive only ALto is a car which is a japanese model of all the manufacturers we have here in pakistan.

Swift GLX and GL have same meter?
Analogue gauges for fuel and temperature can be seen in GLX.
Are they available in GL meter as well?
I saw some version of imported Swift in which there was no gauge for temperature. Just blue and red lights.

suzuki swift will most probably have the same cvt7 (jf015e) made by jatco...

same cvt in mitsubishi ek wagon / nissan dayz / sx4 / mirage / juke

Wheelbase of Alto 660cc is greater than that of this Swift.

Test drive will start from the 1st week of April i.e. either 5th or 6th. Booking is open with full payment and delivery is expected in April before Eid .

Leg space in the rear seat is better than previous swift but less than vitz. Passenger's leg might touch the front seat. So, it looks bit cramped. I have a 3rd gen facelift vitz. So, comparison is with it. Boot space is almost same. Vitz one seems bigger but it isn't an issue. Spare tire space is available as well.

The GLX variant seems to be a value deal with all the add-ons. Tax for filer is 25k and non-filer 50k.
