Not always. The gains alone are very lucrative and attract anyone who has enough spare money to book a car. Frequent price hikes and premium make up to a nice profit when booked timely.
Consider this, someone books an Alto vxr for 15,53,500 now. He gets tentative delivery of September 2022. By the time he gets delivery, the price could have gone up to 16,50,000. Add atleast 150,000 own/premium. He can easily sell that car for 17,50,000 which amounts 196,500(12.6%) in only 6 months!
Btw, Pak Suzuki does have a policy in place that prevents bulk bookings i.e one person can only make 2 bookings in a 12 month period with minimum 6 months gap between bookings.
