Recently a friend of mine opted for the wingle, and also got a power bank for wingle. He's getting quite good performance out of it, almost 1 to 1.5 day of continuous usage.

Can anybody tell their experience of mifi device, such as how long it works, how long it needs to be charged and how is the battery life?.

If you're talking about Zong Mifi then it has a battery life of 5-6 hours. Needs 2-3 hours to charge, not too sure about this though.
Yes, you can connect a wingle to a power bank but in a hurry you can't pop it into your pocket and go. That's where the Mifi is beneficial and since there's only 500 difference why not go for the Mifi?

You ask like there are any options. Haha. Warid already munched up by Mobilink. Expect their services to fall off the cliff. Why not stick with Zong? Ufone is your only choice.

I dont get signals at home and I dont like that at all.. Warid-Mobilink merger will take atleast 1 year to happen.. I think I should just port to ufone (Original number is of ufone which I ported to ZONG) LOL

Small portable power banks are available in size not bigger than Mifi device. Enough for giving backup for few hours and carrying in pocket.

Last time, I plugged my evo wingle in 10AH power bank and that gave me straight 30 hours of backup. So, power banks are excellent for getting extended backup when other USB power source is not available.

Zong Mifi gives 3-4 hours backup if you use it for heavy downloading. If put it on standby and use internet occasionally, backup extends to 5-8 hours. (Observed personally) If you get poor signals, battery will drain in no time.

Exactly, that's what I've been hearing about Mifi, that if you don't get proper signals, the device keeps on switching between 3g and 4g, therefore depleting battery faster than expected.

Are any other ufone users experiencing shitty speeds? A few months back i was getting speeds of around 8Mbps consistently but now i rarely ever get over 2Mbps! (Location remained the same, Faisal Town Lahore)

You are lucky, I was getting 1mb max on Ufone. Left Ufone and got Zong. Btw my location is same as of yours.

Mifi is for 3000 and wingle for 2000 and about which is better read the previous pages.

Zong signed MoU with PTCL to make sure Zong becomes next PTCL. Just kiddin....

Well, PTCL has got lots of towers in remote areas and villages which are now rusting due to almost closure of Vfone service. So, Zong may utilize them to expand its coverage where it has not reached yet. Plus, it will use fibers of PTCL for backup and increasing its bandwidth.

i think Zong will loose a lot of it's customers when this "double volume offer" expires after 31st Dec

Their pulse rate is already the highest and i have come across a lot of people who say the volume is just not enough (and it's double at the moment)

So when it will be halved and they don't come with new packages people would certainly consider other options.

May be some one else can comment on this but as per my observation the sim which ZONG gives with wingle or mifi has high pukse rate but if u use some other ZONG 4g sim then its pulse rate is normal thus is my keen observation

I did not observe any high pulse rate or unwanted volume wastage. The volume consumption which my device is displaying is exactly equal to the volume recorded at zong servers. I have often checked that when device is in idle state, there is no increase of data consumption at all unless I open a site or download something. I have waited for this long enough to check thoroughly if there is any pulse related issue....

May be because I have bought it last month and Zong has fixed this issue in new data sims!!!
