Try Mutual funds( bit risky chose low risk or high risk up to you)
Government securities are also good(average return is 17-20% pa Low Risk)(National investment Trust)
Stock fund(50% pa)(High risk)(National Investment Trust)
Stock fund(70% pa)(High risk)(AKD)
*Stock market is already too high so it is quite risky then again everything has risks involved.

Buying and renting-out land/property is the best investment. look around youself; every person who have money always invest in land/property. whether its politicians, industrialists, businessmen, salaried individuals, overseas compatriots, importer/exporter and list goes on.

this is humans' natural instinct that this paper currency is not a safe thing to keep aside and would be devalued at any day.

about investing in property in dubai, is that "Wiz Khalifa" giving nationality/permanent residence to foreigners in case of buying property, or foreigners just paying lump-sump rent for a certain amount of time; (leased for 49 or 99 years)? please confirm.

In my case I don't have anyone in Pakistan to look after property otherwise that would have been my first choice. But yes since DHA is always a safe investment being supposedly managed by Pakistan army if I am not wrong. Renting is hassle and is not worth it but yes the appreciation is what the thing is.

In Dubai, if you invest more than a million AED then you will get residency, this is what I know.
