Most of the people at this forum recommend Osama. But I contact him many times and posted above photos of proof that I called him many times recently. But he never attended or called back. So no-comments.

Sir in my humble opinion, of course, with no intention of offending anybody, I believe that Osama is avoiding you and you should not visit his shop. No matter how busy, a mechanic interested in working on your car would have the decency to at least pick your calls.

I can understand your struggle, there are very few mechanic like him who are knowledgeable, so I would urge all Pakwheelers to please help mr @tintin1 find an equally good mechanic who is keen to work on his car so that he can enjoy his ride trouble free.

Also I would urge all members to look at the problems from his perspective, it's his first time owning an SUV and it's been less than a year, nobody was born with the expertise, theu all learnt. Often times the advice on Pakwheels is excellent, but on ground realities are different and we have to settle for the next alternative. So we should look past the small things and focus on the bigger picture of getting the beast back on road healthy

Arshad Sahib every man including me working in this field are busy and work on those vehicles which has some potential and our struggle won't go in vain. So is the case with Osama so don't feel sad about his behaviour. Same is the case with me I try to complete the job perfectly and had limited time for their completion sole times I can't even attend the calls because I am busy sorting out different messed out things.

If Osama is busy try contacting Ali Raza gull I had forwarded you his contact previously too. Or visit him directly he has a good team.

I don't agree with you. There was a time when I steeped into this feild I was like weeelllaaaa and I spends hour and hours on phone explaining the procedures to my respected clients. And now I don't had a single minute when I am busy working on vehicles. So that comment of yours is suited on a normal mechanic not on diagnosers brother. .

No one even you don't want that some team member work on critical jobs of your vehicle and you do need special attention of that specific work being performed.
So every man who is organizing a work environment with his team has limited ability of time management. As its not that simple as you had described. Once I had a sciendan Freind of mine who was a expert in management he works with me for 1 week and after one week he was literally got sick because he can't bear so much questions from clients and instruct the working members. Because on every single bolt opening our team members are looking forward for our assistance what to do next. It's not that easy.

Just wondering why many other people don’t think from this angel as of yours !!!

Humbled by your words, I think that's because I have read each and every one of the posts from start to end in one sitting, which made me conclude that you are a busy professional who is trying his best to maintain his car, while also sharing your findings. Of course, a lot of the Pakwheelers here work on cars full time and have more experience, but I have had similar experiences of learning and it is really hard to inplement the advice in the face of time pressures and busy schedules, not to mention you maintain a single car.

Their advice is excellent without doubt, but they should not take it personally if you are not able to implement it. I, for one, learnt so much from this thread and got hooked to it, thanks to all the wonderful Pakwheelers who make this a forum for discussion

It’s a pretty simple formula of time management & managerial skills.

If you have a team working under your super vision, then you spend time in managing your team and meanwhile if new jeep owner walks in for some works, then you have enough time to entertain him aswell.

But if you are working all the times on the vehicles with tools in your hands and without any assistants, then you will be saying no to many new visitors (aka your clients).

So its just time management & bench of managerial skills.

Its not as simple as you think it is, specially when you have a spread of work - e.g. I do not entertain phonecalls or distractions when Im rebuilding a transmission valve body, I also dont entertain client phonecalls when Im doing weird stuff - I do pick up tech help phone calls though - e.g. I had a word with osama while I was installing thread inserts into a BMW X5 body rail, which some moron had stripped.

Most shops refuse to fix that as its an M14 bolt and requires dropping the subframe - which is deceiving unless you know how the car is built.

While I did not pick up other calls as they would go on and on and try to eek some general knowledge out of me so they can go shopping for cheaper solutions.

btw - this turbo would have come with a small syringe of assembly lube, its quite thick. The lube is injected into the port where the oil feed line is bolted to it. Then spin the impeller wheel by hand 3 or 4 times. Connect the oil feed line. completely fit everything.

remove the wire from the injection pump head to prevent starting, crank the engine over till the oil pressure lamp goes out - install the wire - and start the engine, do not rev it for at least half a minute. The lube will still be washing away.

btw - under boost in the efficient range the turbo is close to 110,000 rpm. This is why when you drive a turbo vehicle which doesnt have a coolant cooled cartridge core you need to "idle down" the turbocharger before shutting the engine.

If you are following the "rev and shutdown" technique of ustaad jee you are essentially killing the turbo.

Osama bhai is quite busy these day @nasirjavaid was tell me same thing some days back that osama bhai is not picking his phone, He had some steering cloumb issue and wanted Osama bhai to inspect it

Osama bhai is out of my touch as well last I remember he was rebuilting 1HD of a crusier and had another crusier in his shop for some work also he is rebuilting a completed destroyed Mitsubishi Evo and his working area is under construction as well
