you are mistaken - These are rare in USA and people usually use chevy, dodge and ford 3/4 ton (2500 series) for towing stuff, No one in their right minds uses a land cruiser for daily as the maintenance cost of these are phenomenally crazy (higher than mercedes benz S class sedans) and they cannot tow what a Ford F250 can (Ford F250 6.7 litre diesel has 900 lb/ft of torque available to pull a load)
These are famous in Oz but no its not every 2nd or 3rd person owning it as its very expensive to buy and run.
The large Toyota SUVs you see in USA are sequoias which are even larger than land cruisers but have zero offroad capability. The medium sized ones are 4Runners (hilux surf) and then the smaller highlander and RAV4. - Cruiser is slightly larger than a surf. And the sales figures of Chev and Ford SUVs and trucks are so large that toyota can only dream of them.
Land Cruisers are surely built HD but require a maintenance regime from qualified people, not people who sweet talk on chai pani and bhaiband and the owner is also expected to know the vehicle. If you want to act like the begum saahiba type who just know how to twist key and move gearstick, take selfies etc. Then prepare to pay like them too, Toyota showrooms across the world are ready to cater to your servicing needs.
Regarding spoon feeding information - sorry Im out, I do not spoon feed information as its akin to teaching a rock how to walk; the rock will never learn and the teachers time is wasted. If you are on a forum asking tech questions, you will get answers in tech jargon and the answers will be in the specific nomenclature too. Do not expect us to answer questions like asking the drag of a wheel bearing and being answered in a 5 yr old toddler child mindset. - It cannot work.
I can only guide you on tips and literature, if you cannot decipher them then you best find answers yourself somewhere else.
On the same context - When I started rebuilding automatic transmissions a while ago I came to know that the factory service manual of the old hydraulic mercedes benz units were never translated in english. I had to use translating services and books to understand what they meant - German is easy btw if you know proper English. - But I didnt go out crying that "wo uncle ne hamein ye information spoonfeed nahi kee" (this was when altavista provided the crude babelfish translating service) - I actually wrote the notes on the intermediate blank pages of the book.
Grow up - and learn how to decipher and gather knowledge for your own good.
And customers do get fired from workshops, its nothing new. Find other ones.
