did your tire guy know what this red dot is for?

I have a question, my cars tyre only has a yellow dot (Car tyres mostly have only yellow dot, or at least that’s what I’ve seen). What does the red dot indicate? I know what the yellow one does.

The red dot is the uniformity error mark, its placed in correlation to the radial runout mark on the wheel itself, usually its a round stamp on the wheel - if not, then the wheel is spun without the tire to see where the miminum runout is, The red mark is aligned with that point. This is why whenever the tire is dismounted from the wheel rim - the stem should be marked to the tire.

he does not know the difference between A/T and M/T tires

thats bullshit, its hard to believe that someone in the tire business would not know what all terrain and mud terrain tires are.
The guy you spoke to, could probably have been the manager or a person who inherited the business,
how can a person be in such a huge business and not know the basics of it?

sir i think nd -oil 8 is only for r134a, for R12 you have to use R12 specific oil or you can use nd- oil 11.
@xulfiqar @dani_kk sir please correct me if i am wrong.

R12 Use Mineral Oil While R134a use PAG oil but i guess it back compatible
