no no, we are talking about tires, these abbreviations that you deciphered are for transmissions. In tires, its mud terrain, all terrain and highway terrain or road tires.

I have met Dost Muhammad Khan, owner at JOhar Town workshop. juts met him to see his work place as someone referred me to him.

Can i ask you that how is your experience with him regarding his expertise, labour chages (means excessive or reasonable) etc.

I have seen trhat his workshop had most of SUVs..

Need experts opinion for below stated issues:

1. Clutch of my TLC 1993 12 valve is not working properly. Its servo was repaired approx 02 months back in order to make soft but after repair it remained hard, just a bit difference. After some time of servo repair, clutch started malfunction means jeep kept moving even if clutch paddle was pressed. So we had to change the master cylinder (Japanese one) while kit of slave cylinder was also replaced. But after such work clutch still remained hard and now I feel that clutch is again near to malfunction i.e, sometimes more hard and sometimes its starts working just from the bottom line (when start moving up the paddle).

So what else we need to check again. All work was done by Osama and he will again check it, but I want to have the opinion of experts @Xulfiqar, @syncview etc.

1. In addition to above, I also had to get its brake servo repaired from bilal gunj but brake paddle after repair is also hard… This work was get through another mechanic, not from Osama, he was bust at that time. So if brake and clutch paddle are hard, would its vaccum system be the culprit???

2. Front light shower (passenger side) started leaking; water keeps flowing from its shower end. I opened its line and took out its shower but could not diagnose its root cause. Where could be the fault. Do I need to change the shower. OR problem is somewhereelse? Pics are attached below.

There are sidewall lettering kits but the colour fades away in no time.

I make double sure to never do business with such idiots - selling stuff which you have no idea of is cheating and fraud.

When Im buying tires I expect the seller (tire dealer) knows their stuff inside out. Not baree gudee, choti gudee, naram, sakhat, etc. These type of businessmen are garbage/trash and end up broke poor in a few years because of lack of investing in their own trade. - I dont care if their customs invoice is in multiple of billions USD - if they dont know tires and they are selling tires for cranes, earthmovers and highway trucks - they are literally playing with lives of people.

I have seen people from Pakistan come to USA and say - koi business bataao, yahan car bohot hain - tire ka business karte hain..

The person says business means - buy cheap sell expensive and maintain khaata. Till date I have seen about 29 people lose money in this as they had no idea of the finer details of this business and got horribly stung. They lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I told them to get the "Pakistani business way" out of their brains if they want to succeed.

looks beautiful? - If you dont remember but in earlier times when Kumho were imported into Pakistan they had a "power runner" tire line for passenger cars - the white lettering ones were cheaper than the ones without lettering because the white lettering ones were actually advertisement for them. LOL

The servo repairs are not recommended unless you have a new diaphragm for them and a new piston seal too. The clutch losing pressure is usually a worn bore in the master or slave. Are new parts not available?

Do not use this oil in R12 - its not miscible in R12 at all. Why dont you change the condenser to PF/MF type, flush the whole system and charge with R134a?

Sir ji bilkul available hai. Montgomery road lahore has many shops (Fine Autos, Faisal Autos, Amir Autos)... all have these. My LCs brake master cylinder started malfunctioning 3 months back, bought a new one (they offer Chinese with warranty but dont buy that; go for the Taiwanese) and replaced. Working perfectly.

to make sure your brake parts survive for almost eternity - always flush out the brakes every year (if living in wet areas or 2 years in normal areas) - The lifespan increases many times.

R12 requires mineral oil.
And r134a has many types of oils.
It's compressor dependent.

Like sanden 508 uses nd9
Denso cultus 2010+ compressor requires nd8.
Rotary compressors love 100H
So many types of r134a oils are available.

Yes, I am intended to buy new clutch and brake servo. lets see form where i find it.

Issue of "clutch loosing power" has been resolved by Osama last day, there was oil leakage from the cylinder side. clutch is ok now BUT its hard as earlier so i will go for servo relpacement option.

regarding water dripping form the Headlight shower end, Osama has mentioned that its T-valve needs to be changed whihc migh be hardly availabel in the market as new while used one will not last enough. what would be its alternative. Any idea....

I have also bought new clutch cylinder from Amir autos but servo isnt available.

If @Xulfiqar could guide us whether or not brake and clutch servo of Prado, Surf and other TLC model could be fitted in 1993 TLC 12 valve.
