As currently AC problem is being discussed here so i will share my experience here.
My TLC AC also lost its working and working lost mechanism was strange i.e, AC gas was leaked half and not fully and i was surprised that why not its leaked full??
However deficient gas was refilled twice and each time it reduced within few days. Earlier I got AC work done from "Nasir AC" near AKbar chowk but could not get this issue resolved from them due to rush at their work place.
So i just time passed for 02 months, being much busy in office works. Last week i searched another AC guy Mr Sagheer "Sagheer AC" at auto market near shadiwal chowk Johar Town. he earlier worked at Japan AC within the same market.
Sagher was totally new to me but i went to his shop as he had the required time for my jeep. TLC cooling coil and compressor was checked previously, so this time we opened its condensor only and checked its leakage which was found ok. After fitting its back, air pressure was was inflated in the system to check the leakage point; (Pressure was also injected before opening cendensor) so after inflating the pressure we could locate the puncture point in the metal pipe running behind the engine. puncture point was within the previous welded repair. so that pipe was opened and was inflated with 200/250 psi pressure but surprisingly it was OK. we were stunned that where the leakage point has gone. it was deflated and inflated again but of no use. I asked him to increase the pressure (keeping the in mind the strange leakage mechanism of my jeep), as soon as pressure was increased, puncture point started bleeding !!!!!!
that portion of the leakage point was replaced. High pressure rubbur pipe and filter was also replaced. Refrigent was injected and MAshaAllah till then AC is working very fine even at the time of FULL NOON (not moon).
It was Sagheer who upon my inquiry informed me about Dost Muhammad Khan (frontier workshop) a reknown suv diesel mechanic in that area.
