If Gulzar used PAG oil in an R12 system, He literally set your cash on fire, Secondly the charge is 900 grams not a kg - overcharging 100 grams can cause overload and loss of cooling.

thirdly - the expansion valve will clog with the wrong gas/oil mix - PAG oil is not miscible in R12.

finally - your static pressure cannot be 120 bar as that equals to 1740 psi.

furthermore - you are hiring useless people for work - working on the cabin AC of a 80 series cruiser is exactly like working on a 100 series corolla, the only difference being a larger system, If someone is charging you 3x the price of a corolla job - they are ripping you off.

btw - are all AC systems working on your truck or just the front unit failed?

i think you mean R134 refrigerant and ND-8 oil in above post.

if using R134a then go for Miltiflow condenser

Old Serpentine condenser as we see had some beating and fins are bent

if you are keeping this jeep....plan for installing MF Condensor in upcoming winters as t**hese condenser are not so good with R134a** as mentioned by other friends too

All post 90's 92-98 model cars face similar issue when R12 support condenser are equipped with r134a gas

you can find and need to alter mountings and made new line connections...keep in mind...its a time taking job

Sir @tintin1 in my humble opinion you should seek out the best AC technician for your LC's air conditioning.

On many recommendations from all Pakwheelers I got my car's AC system done by Mr Sabir. It went without saying since he was so experienced and qualified that all of the materials he used were of supreme quality. Honeywell gas. Large vacuum pump. Condenser oil was clean as water. The car's AC got so chill that i freaked out that smoke was coming from AC pipes he laughed and showed me that it was ice melting on the AC pipes. Since then the car's AC system is working quite flawlessly. He immediately diagnosed the leak and got the work done from a third party welder. The weld was strong.

Cutting things short - his charges were as minimal as the cheapest shop I inquired rates with and that shop was selling chinese gas instead of Honeywell. Mostly I was inspired by his akhlaque, and there was seating area for customers under shade of tree and water cooler.

Now as for the best AC technicians in Lahore, many on the WagonR owners club recommend Punjab AC.

yes sir its the mistake that you made.

I have an old ride too with serpentine condensor and i just use R134 with it. Mainly because of availbility and support structure.

The cooling is reasonably fine with serpentine condensor. i just had to adjust my expectation from the cooling system.
