The serpentine condenser actually is a singular tube convoluted and covered in fins - what @SER_GTR posted is the most ancient type of R12 condenser (usually found in older Hiace etc).
Your original condenser is also serpentine type - its a flat channel type though, and if you look closely you will see the little U bends in the end covers.
MF/PF condensers have end tanks like your radiator and between these end tanks are dividers so the path of gas is not just a straight shot but the gas goes from left to right and right to left multiple times in tiny pathways before it exits the condenser (this is why its not flushable) - and this is how the gas sheds heat completely. Serpentine condenser doesnt efficiently "condense" R134a and you get heat soaked and face loss of cooling.
