And I told u my experience of weak radiator I was not able to move half a kilometer due to this as in diesel weak radiator is a suicide

So what is expected price of engine

V sad news and event but must have saved you from something worse.

Did Farooq confirm that the heat caused the Piston Slap (assuming)? This looks like alot of damage to be done by overheating only but do discuss and share his opinion on it.

Discuss the option of going 1hd 12 valve as it might save you money and might have been the original engine offered in your model. Whatever you decide, don't rush to a conclusion.

Ok, so he thinks the heat lead to some problem in sleeves, rings etc?
If you feel like it, do mention the sound that was coming before the heat up issue and if that was an existing g problem which got amplified with heat up.

Bhaijaan. Piston seedha nahi betha hoga. Tick tick noise is typical due to that after bad engine rebuild. Usi se ye issue bana hoga sara. Aap piston aur sleeve inspect karo, u will find the traces and saboot there.

First & foremost, I am VERY SORRY to hear this. Not a good Monday news at all. Anyways"Allah K har kaam mein behtri hoti hai". What is done is done. Forget everything and start afresh.

My 2 humble suggestions-as a brother and "Dil sey".

Get a 1HDF-TE and no, it also came in the 80 series (96 on wards).
"Mehngaa roye 1 baar Sastaa roye baar baar". FA is probably one of the best in Pakistan. Get everything
done from him. Also bro, somethings can't be that cheap**

1 HDF-TE is an amazing piece of technology. When I was in the market for an LC80 (back in 2014) before buying my current LC, I had the pleasure of testing 2 LC's with 1 HDF-TE, one was a 96 (leather interior) & the other a 97 (dual tank). Both were non body changed vehicles, but there was a slight blow in both and that combined with my fear of a bad diesel engine stopped me from taking the plunge and I ended up with "Emerald my love". But I would like to say one thing, the sound and drive were like.... Uffff!!!!!!

1HDFTE would be a difficult swap due to electronic injection and not doing the a-z swap would not exhibit the benefits of a proper 1HDFTE. I assume the search is for a 1HDFT (24 valve) and not 1HDT (12 valve) and if that is correct, FT without E might not be too far behind in performance.

Ok, I thought that tick tick was due to load on engine.
Any abnormal noise on engine rebuilds is usually dangerous and our mechanics usually say, "Konsi Awaz, Haan, Yeh Chal Kaay Theek Hu Jayee Ge"
