iirc i didn't proceed with the repair because the wire was correct and correctly adjusted

that crown also had a botched swap with no diagnosis port, i remember pulling codes from it by shorting out the wires directly behind the ecu and there was a time you were running it without grease in newly installed ball joints

Look, if I made a work related call to someone on a weekend and they didn't pick up I wouldn't mind at all. In fact if they told me they were annoyed by me calling them on their off day I would actually apologize and feel a bit embarrassed.

very classic toyota automatic gearbox "saniplast fix" - if the gearbox is too slushy (due to bad regulating valve and bad feed limit valve) - dumbasses tighten the aggression cable and think its fixed.

While now its actually destroying itself at rapid pace. There is a reason toyota have specced a cable length not a tightness in the manual.

I had repaired hundreds of those cases, Good money for people like me, keep it up !!

Tin coated wires that are available widely at shershah are better than uncoated one for these purposes or better stick with our old only copper wires?

and that is why one should stay away from botched up vehicles, always do your research and buy a stock, maintained vehicle, compromise on paint, but never on it being an abused or a botched up case

That's, sadly, the opposite of how our market works. Even a 15-20 yr old car has to be on jenyan paint. Who cares even if it's so messed up you can't even drive it home - all that matters is that it's on jenyan paint
