And guess what, when it was confirmed that it isactually tappet cover leak, ……. The real cricket match started after that. Wouldyou believe 5 times they open the tappet, applied silicone and close it. But leakhappen next day again.

how moronic.

a valve cover leak is very simple to repair on this engine. how come your mechanics were busy slathering RTV? - its a rubber bead type gasket, just install in cover groove and torque down in sequence.

they also said that now everyone applies silicon and hence rubber gaskets are no more.

Sloan international inc. in new york is not lube blending or packing place.

The original sloan greases I used to buy literally had the EPZ address of Karachi along with phone number too. They could not sell it to me direct due to epz laws

So they guided me to the lubes shop in korangi who stocked them.

Sad to see it also has become manjann.
