My grandfather told me that once there was a time that people used to hate made in japan items like nowadays many hate made in china products. They used to love made in UK products back in 50s and 60s. Now we love made in japan cars and also electronics we love to buy made in japan or USA.

Then its the peoples fault for falling into that trap. I personally dont fall for country of origin and focus on the specification of item.

E.g. I wont pay stupid money to Rolls Royce for their rubber seal supplement product when I can buy the same thing from an AC delco product seller for less than 20 dollars.

Or

I wont pay insane money to Toyota for their elusive weird and stupid pink rubber grease when I can buy a mind boggling number of similar products for loose change.

I can tell you why there is a difference in taste and strength of Coffee in both countries. I have worked with Nestle and I came to know in detail how it works.

To make it short and sweet, Pakistanis in general can't handle the bitterness and high caffeine content due to our developed tastes (Tea etc). Nestle caters to the mass market.

Second, the beans used for Coffee in Pakistan are different from the ones in Europe or USA. You should try authentic Turkish coffee if you really are a true coffee lover. It's way too strong for our tastes here.

Even in Pakistan, we have Nescafe Classic and Nescafe Gold. Read their labels or call their helpline. Interesting stuff.

yes - that rat poop coffee, I think its from Indonesia.

I agree with you 100% that Pakistani people have higher developed tastes of teas, thats why coffee is not welcome by most. Its a bit too caveman for us.
