The first one is better in terms of its originality. Requires some bargaining skills to get down on the price. Maybe the low displacement engine factor can be used for bargaining.
The second one with diesel 2L Prado/Surf engine has undergone lots of alterations already. Even if you swap it with a 2JZ, you shall have to work very hard to sort out the jugars already performed on it. On top of it, has a changed body. So please avoid it even if it is cheaper.
