see if tht door plastic is not limiting the cone movement of the mids... i had this problem in my lancer.. had to cut then out inorder to let the cones move freely

i didnt notice any issues, but will recheck.

i hve the oriel (6cd in dash) i wanted to upgrade the system .. dnt want to change the pre .. else i have to change the pannel .. for which i paid $$$ ... so is it a gud idea adding amp woofer and speaker to stock pre ... ??

stock pre is good enough, u can surely add amp/sub/speakers to further improve it.

nice DIY there brother. Specially for those who want to install systems in their 8th gen civics.

BTW a few things i noticed.
1. do something about the amp ventilation. if no air escapes amp will get v hot even on low loads.
2. For ground connection, there are 4 bolts in the center part of the seat, just under the rear arm rest, i think those points are better for grounding.

P.S dont worry about the cone touching the plastic ring of the door panel. i have 3/4 inch mdf spacer installed and they still dont touch each other.

change the place of crossover....
it looks bad..
try to put it with amp..it will look gud.
