Nope. No oil starvation. Nothing dark brown. We checked all the obvious things, nothing added up
Was the oil filter genuine? foreign object damage is a possibilty with cheap oil filters (which can litteraly have loose iron shavings).
Came from Honda. Now if Honda Avenue charges for one and fits another, can't say, but otherwise, should be genuine. Didn't double check as never had an issue with it
One had oil consumption issue and one had a blocked pcv system. But both suffered severe strain and friction marks on oil pump
