Let's assume we go the unethical way of paying own for an Altis 1.6, still that is a better deal in 2.3 Million after adding 150k of own. A known and established car with a certain future and a 1.6 Engine is a bargain for just One lakh extra.
At least it doesn't have the uncertainty if getting discontinued and after 5 years it will sell for maybe 18 but the Ciaz will sell around 12 for sure. Take the example of 5 years old Liana and City/Corolla as of today. And this is exactly what Suzuki needed to change and tell the consumer that don't worry we are here and looking after your asset and this could he done by establishing a market share for this car by marketing it with a low price and proving its worth.
And this is exactly what's wrong with Ciaz. Read my posts above and not once I said its a bad car. I even remember saying as a car its very good.
This is exactly why I wished your and all owners going for it car serves them well and makes up the drawbacks with returning its value in the form of service and trouble free good life and doesn't make you regret your decision. I hope I am wrong and this car stays in the market to establish a spot of its own and prove its worth.... Cheers
We do need more options and competition but established ones.
