My kid styles he loves water, and really becomes jubilant at lakes, rivers, streams and waterfalls. The hut in background on left is for the Government officials stay at Lake saifulmaluk.

These are washrooms available on Lake Saiful Maluk, i guess there were available on 20-30 rupees.

And some one had thrown big wooden piece in Lake, just imagine, how the beauty of lakes being destroyed by us.

So that's the end of the story of Day1. Keep your fingers crossed for Day2 which was the toughest day of our expedition...........

Nice tour brother your effort is really appreciated as far as you and your wife are concerned however it would be good if you keep the kids out of such adventures. Taking a kid on that long journey on bike is not appreciated at all, it was better to travel on car or bus (as advised by your friends).

Now people will read your travelogue of successful tour and blindly follow by taking their children to northern area which could be very dangerous. As evident on our roads most bikers are not careful riders and they dont bother to buy helmet and other safety equipment for themselves and kids. Majority bike riders dont use back view mirrors and indicators. They get the children seated on fuel tank and apply front brakes.

May be right now you would dislike my post as i am not praising you like others. At least there should be one guy who make you realise about the danger. Thank you.

its good you pointed this out
not everyone with bikes should push their families for travelling long distance in mountainous regions. Kids can develop breathing and asthma issues when exposed so long on roads... and not to forget dehydration!

buses, public transport are not a bad choice... safer, less exhausting, cost effective and luggage space provided as compared to bikes

Awesome trip and narration with spectacular shots.
But man why your bike is so over loaded? I myself is a biker and riding from last 10 years and never carried this much of stuff on tours.

Brother Allah SWT gave you great courage to overcome the risks involved on a bike. A great effort though. In the end thanks to Almighty all went well. I really feel chilled how you crossed slippery muddy roads, glaciers and countless water streams on way to Naran and beyond. Especially with a child sitting on the fuel tank and lugggage/shoppers hanging all round the bike. Bravo.

You are right brother, we have luggage with us, no doubt, actually it was related to camping gears and plus easy to access items were hanged in shopper, but it did create problems but thanks to Allah Pak, all went well.
