I recently moved from Android to iOS and the Audio quality suddenly got REALLY REALLY worse with the stock head unit on Grande. After fiddling around with it a little, I found out that the Mids were causing the problem.

So here are the new settings for my iPhone with Grande Head Unit:

You didn't mention, how do you connect your phone to the head unit.

I use the Bluetooth mode for the most part it's quality is 9/10

For the extra depth, there is iPod Link or something in the unit, when you connect your iPhone to the USB slot in the mid - the one right across the USB charging and aux, it detects your iPhone and the audio is routed through the USB Cable instead of BT then. The sounds is a bit better that way but BT is good for most day to day uses.

Its been on Rock since day 1. Have tried playing with it but I always keep coming back to Rock. It has the most balanced settings that are better fine-tuned from the Treble, Mid & Bass tab.

Hi. So i recently (about 2 months ago) got the software of HU updated to latest version, not sure what the version no is. The problem, since then, is that if i play youtube through android/HU app, the sound quality is worst, like no settings are applicable on youtube app, no base etc. The same song, if i play through bluetooth of connect my phone via mirror link, sounds amazing with the base and all. Any idea what the problem might be? I've tried resetting the HU, uninstalling the youtube app etc, nothing worked.

I only use the HeadUnit for Bluetooth and external music playing. Youtube was never good on this HeadUnit, neither was Google Maps.

Maps, yeah. Youtube, however, was amazing!!
