first step remove the meter...clean it thoroughly.....then take out the bezel.....scrape the black colour from the back side of any of the empty slots...
then take a light yellow paper go to any printer and print vtec on that and print many vtec names on in in after two line gap in numerous sizes then take the vtec name which shows perfectly into the meter..
cut it into a square and paste in by any washable glue from the corners on the square not from the middle..
then buy a small bulb for the meter
note(the small bulb is a slighly bigger variant than the ones usually found in other cars..also buy a new holder)
and pack the meter...
then open the kick panel where the ecu is..find the vtec solenoid every car has its own place for solenoid the wire easily found from any owners manual....
attatch the wire properly to the solenoid and take its other end the bulbs positive terminal.
then attatch the negative wire to the rpm negative wire...
then tug every thing up and voila u have ur vtec light....and u would see a light when the vtec kicks in yo...
note(the vtec light wont turn on idle revving)it only turns on then the car is moving.....
i hope this helps......
