Sorry Cloud100, but I have to disagree with you simply because ur theory does not incorporate basic physics. Let me explain why:
1- CNG or natural gas, will never go down the carburettor on its own whether the throttle butterfly is open or not. It is simply lighter than air and will always rise. However, if you crank the engine, and keep the accelerator pedal depressed, the engine will suck in the gas. Once again, pumping the gas pedal before cranking the engine will not help much. Pumping while cranking the engine will help.
2- I do not know which "reverb" sound you are mentioning, but it is not produced because of excessive CNG going into the engine. If excessive gas goes in, it will stall the engine and it will shut down.
3- Excessive pumping on CNG will not make the car "over" as it will not fill up the barrels of the carburettor and will disperse as soon as you stop cranking the engine and take your foot off the gas pedal.
Hope this helps.
Peace!
