Sad news brothers. Due to some unavoidable reasons, this beauty is going back to its previous owner....and I'm left heartbroken. It was such a great car. I know i wont find a car as clean as this one again. If I can put it into words: It was a short but true love affair. Anyways good bye to this beauty and the long and arduous hunt begins again.

Exactly. Found this car after searching for around 5 months. This past 1 and a half month with this car was amazing. Now, People are suggesting me to go for a city or altis but cant even think about it. Anyways have started the search again.
Anyone selling a clean CL9 with sunroof may contact me, please.

Really?? I never understand that. At least here in Karachi everyone goes to great lengths to block out the sun. And then sunroof? I don't even realize that I have a sunroof in my Turbo and none in CL9.

Before that I had a sunroof in my daily driver Lancer. Hardly ever used it, even though I really wanted to. Warm weather, dust, noise, all these things don't allow that.

Things are a bit different in Islamabad (dust and weather wise). Going out of the lane at night kids like to stand and enjoy the lights and air for a bit.

I rarely open the roof completely - but I never actually close the cover. It's always open because I enjoy the view and the light ambiance inside the cabin haha. I'm a huge fan of panoramic | moon roof's and honestly closing the cover eliminates the whole function of having one in the first place. What I've done is tinted the moon-roof's with 3M tint approx 80% dark - honestly even in Islamabad's current temperature 40+ degree I rarely feel a difference in heat inside the cabin. That glass-top effect is classy and that's just my opinion

In a 12-15 year old car sunroof can be a problem. I remember once in my CL7 the sunroof got stuck in the tilt function and just won't close. Luckily, after multiple open-close attempts it finally settled in place. I then had to greased the entire tracks using WB-40 lithium Spray grease for smoothness and it ran trouble free.
