These systems are great for added functionality and bringing the car to 2018.but, the one thing i will definitely miss is the fuel consumption app in the OEM system. I think these chinese systems dont have the fuel consumption app. Otherwise, i myself have plans for this upgrade.

I've literally hit a point with the Accord when I know exactly when that reserves going to hit and how much fuel I have left - never had the fuel consumption app so I'm just left with experience and estimation

Must go for the system then. And in my opinion there would not be a worthwhile difference between 250$ and 500$ system. Both are Chinese and would be same more or less. Better is to go by the number of buyers and opinions on aliexpress.
We should arrange a meetup. Would be great to share experience and chat. Fahad sahab agreed as well.

You do known that the original nav screen also has functions like running a complete electronic diagnostic.... the screen shows whether all sensors, lights abs etc. are running properly and other complex features? Although not really used in daily routine but i find it hard to let go of the screen because of this and fuel average display

My CL9 came with the Premium Sound System analog screen. - Plus I would go for the original Navigation but I think I'll have to change one more component > that mini-screen (if I may call it) on the dashboard displaying the temperature etc (which honestly looks dope) - which isn't easy to find. And I don't know how compatible that might be with my car and how it will actually come to complete sync. Plus OEM Navigation in mint condition aren't easy to find.

I am CL 9 owner as well. Its an absolutely incredible machine, has no major issues except for 1) A proper fuel 2) Spare parts availability.

Bro, you have no idea what 'proper fuel' requirement is unless you try a Civic Turbo. CL9 tou phir bhi poor fuel bardaasht ker leti hai.

Accords are designed to operate on unleaded gasoline with a pump octane number of 86 or higher, no tension Allah ka shukar hai - Yes for your Turbo it's a worrying situation.

In that case you should def go for one. An oem navigation is not worth sending my money. It just looks good if free. Not a lot of utility

Spares availability is not an issue at all in my opinion. And the prices are reasonable as well. Brand new and Kabli spares are easily available. Japanese brand new shocks for my CL9 were cheaper than my previous car civic 7th gens shocks.

Any idea what this connector is originally meant for. Seems like it has been converted into an extra port for cig lighter/ mob charger. Wanna know its orig purpose. What is the port in lower compartment. Do we have an aux or usb port in premium sound system

Even I still haven't figured out the purpose of this port. As for aux, yes my car has an aux cable connected to the original premium nav screen. It activates with the tv button on the screen. Not sure whether the connection is from the system directly or through the trunk (the reverse camera is connected to the port in the trunk)

Did you get the Aux installed yourself? - Because I have an option of Aux given on my premium system but there's no Aux. And I've never actually had the guts to go and get a aftermarket installed. :3

No the previous owner got it. I too don't feel like getting the dash opened. Also, strangely enough the aux input activates through the TV button instead of the aux button. I bought a Bluetooth input device from aliexpress for $2 and that's how i converted a 15yr old nav screen into a Bluetooth player

Please share link/ pics of the device if possible. Does it allow bluetooth calling as well. And experienced owners are requested to enlighten us on other goodies and stuff installed in their cars. Share anything that you might feel could be new for others. Thx in advance.

Yesterday I went for catalytic converter cleaning and learnt that my CAT was broken from inside and requires replacement. So I am looking for a CAT. Has anyone else gotten their CAT replaced?

@FarhanAnwarKhan felt that the car was slightly heavy (throttle response not as quick) and that the smoke has a smell. He suggested to get catalytic converter cleaned. So we got it checked. Other than that the car drives fine and has no issue.
