I never leave my car for second once its with the mechanic. The problem is you find a good mechanic who works himself, after a few visits he becomes complacent and starts handing your car over to chota, who f..ks it up.
Once i was getting my brake pads changed on my Civic and had to get the rotor resurfaced. Mister chota was trying to remove the stuck wheel rotor by striking it in the middle with a hammer. I gave him a piece of my mind. These idiots think they can get away with such carelessness.

I had the opportunity to see this car in early January of 2016. The seller was somewhere in Gulshan Iqbal. Back then I had the CL7 and even the seller was all praises for my car. The color was same and I was in the market for a CL9. It'll be nice to have both in the garage. Somehow my brother wasn't convinced and we didn't pursue this car further.

I'm sorry to hear that that you had to go through all that. Having said that, none of the CLs in the market are clean anymore. During my 2 or so years of ownership, I spent nearly 150,000 on the car. Sold it for around the same price that I paid for it 2 years earlier.

I was thinking of having a meetup someday with everyone available in Islamabad with their Accords, would love to put a face to the name lol. Chai / Coffee and a lot of Honda talk maybe once a month lol, share experiences - recommend places and parts etc. Plus it never hurts to socialize with motorheads. I think I've personally outgrown the "racing" scene - sakun is preferred now.

Changed the coolant yesterday. After 5th drain water came out clean. Used AC drain water for initial 3 fills. For final 2 drains used distiiled water bought from market. Drove the car in between each change.

Has anyone tried to change the inner cv joint of a CL9,there is an inherent problem with this vehicle's transmission.Although i did change mine but it didnt help,i put liqui moly transmission fluid to no avail.However the engine of this car is superb

Can you please tell me what problem you are referring to? Inner CV joints normally go loose, after developing play due to usage - this causes vibration upon acceleration and sounds. Is this the problem that you are referring to?

Hello guys. So glad to find some cl9 enthusiasts finally active! A bit late for me though since I'm about to exit this league. Someone here mentioned about my car up for sale. So yeah i was about to go abroad when i posted the ad back in November, then i wasn't and now i am it was a bit of an uncertain situation but it's sorted now and I'll be moving soon insha Allah. So yes my beloved cl9 is in search of a new caretaker. Please spread the word to anyone you know who might be genuinely interested.

Honda dw1 is recommended transmission fluid. The transmission is very sensitive to transmission fluid. Better only use Honda dw1.

Filter is worths rs 2000 and DW1 was being sold for 1100 per bottle. I checked 2-3 shops. The method recom in this video i found on Youtube is not known/recommended by any mechanic. My mechanic was reluctant. However, i liked it. Please watch and comment guys:

Honda DW1 is indeed highly recommended but as far as my research and experience with the ZIC ATF-3 Synthetic seems to be working perfectly fine - no noise from the gearbox, perfect and smooth shifts. I'll probably put the DW1 back on my 100,000 service.

It's not too complicated actually. You have to remove the airbox though - then this can be accessed as its sitting on top of the tranny. Loosen the 2 bolts of the bracket holding it and then pull the clamps and pipes from both its ends. A bit of tranny fluid will spill out but not much - especially if it is changed along with transmission fluid, because then you would have drained your fluid while replacing this.

So I've done quite a lot of research regarding this specific navigation unit and asked quite a few users in Pakistan regarding its functionality and everyone's remarks are positive. It supports all the steering functions without disturbing the cruise-control - It's a perfect fit and doesn't require any kind of alteration Allhumdillah. The built-quality of the buttons and dials is average - but I think it'll work just fine. Atleast it'll bring the Accord's interior to 2018ish look - You have to get the one which supports the dual ac function as they're two types available. Within Pakistan a used unit will probably cost around 30-37 otherwise you can order from aliexpress brand-new. InshAllah I'll order soon enough and get back to all of you with a in-depth review!

Note: There are multiple products with the same design ranging from 250USD to 500USD - Quality difference is huge between them.
