Hey PWers!
I've recently acquired a CM5 2003.
Apart from some mechanical repairs, I've done the following:
- Changed spark plugs to OEM replacement
- Oil filter changed
- Air filter changed
- o2 sensor bank 1 replaced (A/F ratio sensor)
- Changed all fluids (engine, tranny and coolant)
But I seem to be getting in around 300kms on a full tank. I'd say around 4.7 kml avg with 40/60 mix of city and highway
Some things I plan to do are:
* Change rear o2 sensor (I have a CEL for this [P0137] but I've read on other forums that it shouldn't affect my mileage, or atleast not as much. Correct me if im wrong but the car clearly isn't in limp mode)
* Clean EGR
* Clean PCV
I should mention that at some point in time this car had CNG installed on it but the compression tests are not bad at all (190ish on all 4). Should I get an ECU re-tune/flash done as well? Will that improve the mileage?
Any advice/help in this regard will be really appreciated. Let me know if i missed something that i should look into.
If anyone in ISB is willing to help out in person, that would be super amazing.
P.S. DO NOT RECOMMEND ME TO GO TO DMOTORSPORTS. THEY ARE NOT WELL VERSED WITH ACCORDS. THANK YOU.
