we are to blame first of all
we dont carry papers/id
we know black tints are not allowed and shades are not allowed(they should be able to see inside the car for security reasons)
our cars have stupid fancy plates
we want to drive on high beams for no apparent reason
we dont wear seat belts(i saw a police man literally politely begging a guy to put his belt on and he was giving stupid counter arguments)

if we fix ourself, police has nothing much to say to us. i work in odd times and go through these check points daily
be polite to them. they would be polite in return

if u give them a chance, they would spare u!

Things are not as simple as you say my friend!
I had all the documents, the car was not tinted and they captured the blinds which where in trunk......( obviously not obstructing the view ) and then they demanded money!

Just before night of first roza i went to karachi airport in my car and was alone.there is a signal just before entering airport area,after going through the signal i was stopped by 2 traffic police man.

First of all they asked for my license which i gave them and after checking it very briefly he said "bhai signal kiu tora apnay" and i was totally shocked as i knew i went on green signal so i started blaming the police guy that how the hell can u say that as i know i crossed it on green.he started threatening me about monitor cams and in reply ok show me the monitors or whatever.after my reply he went really nervous and said in sindhi "bus ab apko kia bolain ap apnay lagrahay ho isliya khair ho.

i have blinds on my car and no Police officers & rangers ask me to remove those.i have my papers,driving license,nic,orignal number plates.
Why give them a chance ?

Well thats true same incident happend with me when i was on Shah rai faisal, I was polite with them but their plan was to get the kaancha. i gave them the keys and told do what ever u wana do called my aba shahab. My father is a high ranked Police officer.
They were begging me seriously begging to go sir sorry etc lol.

I got stopped once, i broke a signal. Well, the hand signal of the traffic police.
It was me and my mom, i went outside, shaked his hand and greeted him in a polite manner.
He told me " You broke a signal, and there is a fine for that, go bring registration papers" i went towards the car, gave him the documents.
The car was rented, so not in my name.
He asked for license, don't have one(Next month inshAllah i will turn 18)

I just spoke nicely to him, told him the weather is hot, hard to do errands on a bike, i drive slowly, wear seat belt bla bla.
After a little chit-chat, he told me to let my mom drive and not to see me behind the wheel again.

Mom took over until the police officer was out of sight, me back again

Moral; no matter how highly ranked or have the most influential contacts your dad, uncle etc. have, always show respect. They don't fancy boys who will threaten to get them sacked, beaten shot etc.

Take it easy, and just play along.

I have a different experience...from the last seven years i m comming to blue area and then fazaia islamabad then pindi saddar through karal chowk and sumtyms through bahria town on almost daily basis from attock,i have never ever , i repeat never ever stopped for a single tym by any police wala or naka it is worth mentioning that my cars have total black tint and one is karachi Reg as well...that too frm the last seven years..
