The all new Micra is now available for sale with deliveries beginning in 3rd week of June.Maybe another new hatchback, but it is the first all-Indian car by Renault-Nissan to be exported to world markets where Renault-Nissan will sell this car!. Chennai is one of the four manufacturing hubs for this car.My first impression is that i'm impressed by the build quality, engine, equipment levels and space. Ride height is also not compromised which is a plus for this part of the world. With the right amount of marketing and incentives Nissan can become a player in the volume segment of the Indian auto market with this car. A full test drive will follow with a detailed review soon. Nissan is also hosting an event with Nismo tuners and other attractions at the Madras Race Track to promote the launch of this car next month. Till then, here are my views of the latest hatchback to be released in the Indian auto market.
Estimated price range RS4.5 to RS5.2.5lacs ex-showroom(official price list to be announced Jun 01). The company plans to sell 80,000 cars in the first year of release in the domestic market.
