Please check your air filter after sometime if its not getting dirty it means its not doing its job and letting the dirty contaminated air pass through it... It will harm your engine...

Did anyone notice that Brv's ac cooling is not like how it should be... I was comparing it with my 2003 suzuki baleno... The minute i turn the baleno's ac on it starts throwing ice chilled air and it doesn't even trip while in rush or something.
On the other hand brv's ac takes sometime to start cooling(thats why they specially advertised in this new facelift model that it now starts colling within 10seconds)
Brv has got dual fans even then when in rush or at idle on stop light it stops throwing cold air and it drastically changes the cabin temp.... This is what i felt today in rwp weather and i was the one on driving seat so i can only imagine what the passengers on thr back row and in last row go through....
One reason might be the color of car as its modern steel (dark color) and my baleno is silver color
Only way my brv ac cools the car is if its parked in a shade otherwise even if parked out in open just for 5 minutes its ac struggles to even throw cold air
I am thinking to get the ac gas check if its the problem if its low on freon.its a new car so its highly unlikely that freon will be low but for peace of mind i will get it checked.

BRV'S REAR AC VENTS DOES NOT THROW WARM AIR IN WINTERS...SO IN WINTERS ONLY WAY TO WARM THE CAR UP IS FRONT VENTS...I DON'T KNOW IF ITS A PROBLEM WITH MY CAR OR IS IT LIKE THAT IN ALL BRV'S

Get your ac checked it should not be like that. Color of the car does not contribute that much. I think rear ac vents are just a fan taking air from front and blowing it to rear.

brv doesnt come with ac filter so it would get dirty fast, the evaporator core. Honda 3s have an excuse to make extra money. They will open it up to clean it and still charge you for re gassing when they infact are able to store it.

Rear vents do have an evaporator core too, you can see it through the vents. But again no type of filter is there and will get dirty.

Are you sure its Freon? This refrigerant is no more coming, mostly R134A is being used these days.

That is because there are no coolant pipes in the roof of BR-V.
Car heater takes heat from engine through coolant.

Bro, try Honda Avenue. I respect everyone's opinion and some might differ, but I have found them out to be very courteous and staff is good as well. I take my Civic Oriel X there for routine checkups and have found it out to be excellent. Have done 3-4 visits and each has been satisfying.

Can any brv owner tell me if rear washer starts wiping automatically after fluid is sprayed? Or do they need to be turned on manually?
I just noticed today in my brv as I don't often use rear wipers
They are not like front wipers which automatically turns on the wipers as soon as fluid is sprayed.

Ale your observation is correct. You have to turn the wiper manually.

i am plannin to install Alloy Rims....any suggestions for which one should i go?and is there any place in rwp/isb where i can get good quality ones within a reasonable rate?
plus do alloyrims decrease average of the car as they add extra weight to the car?
i have got navigation installed from honda and i regret that because the shit they are giving in 67k you can find very good after market one's in this range....at that time they asked 1lac12k or 1lac20k for aloyrims so i didn't get it because it was nonsense...

If you had this extra money you should have been buying S variant. But now as you already had your car adding alloy rims will not do any harm. But buy good quality alloy rims. Normally rims present in the market are not so good.

I got original Honda brv rims from Lahore in excellent condition for rd. 50000. You can try and you may turn out to be lucky.

There is absolutely no way the filter will last 10k in urban or rural(dusty) traffic. Change it after 5k max. I have had the brv for almost 3 years now.

Highest and lowest figures you've got so far?

max in city with ac i got is 11.5-12km/l least was in start it was giving 8-9km/l on long its always above 13.5-15km/l all of these are with ac.....cr is driven only for 6500k...mostly they say that it gets better after atleast 10k km's

Not bad. Auto is fuel guzzler but its impressive being a manual.
