Other than CVT transmission and it's -ve impact on the power I think you seem to recommend this vehicle. When you are climbing on L gear on a CVT, does it still insufficient to climb from Chillas to Babusar?

The hill climb issue was resolved in glory 580 pro (also known as i-auto variant )
model as it used cvt5 gear.
The main issue of it not climbing hills was due to gearbox. The old one had cvt3

I have absolutely no idea about how CVT will fare on the climb and also there is the issue of low oxygen in that area.

Regarding manual BRV you will have to wait till august or september because I will visit Hunza then and I will be going through this area and I will actually come to know about it on my return trip back to Lahore from Hunza god willing.

Yes I would recommend this car more so for those person whose family consists of 5 persons. You have a lot of room in BRV, pick is good better than any 1.3 car, and definitely better than any other 1.5 crossover like Rush, Avenza etc. Both Rush and Avenza have 7 seats and both cost nearly 20 lac more than the BRV and both produce only 103 horsepower while BRV produces 118 horsepower with 145 newton of torque. Rush goes 0-100 in 13 plus seconds while BRV is 10.5 seconds. There is pick in even the 6th gear

It's because there hasn't been proper marketing in Pakistan (yet).
While in Malaysia it's been properly marketed.

I don't think that the problem is solved otherwise the company would definitely have given at least some sort of statement, their case is still running abroad however.

Some people are claiming that 580 Pro doesn't have the same issue as non Pro 1.5t.

But...

I haven't seen an actual practical experience yet.

E.g. climbing to Monal with full load or nathia gali from ABTD for example with full load.

Wait for an actual review in these areas.

If 580 Pro can do that easily then it sounds like a great vehicle.

Does Honda BR-V has a cabin filter to clean the air coming through the vents/AC? I tried to search but I couldn't find any information about it.

no cabin filter in the pakistani brv-s even in the facelift model, although one of the Malaysian or Indonesian versions have it in the facelift model.

Some members mentioned that there is a place to add filter. But it did not comes factory fitted. Some owners did a DIY filter attachment.

how often BRV AC needs servicing because it doesn't come with a cabin filter?
the AC with a cabin filter hardly needs servicing that's why I am concerned.

Yes there's a place for cabin air filter in BRV, you have to cut it with sharp knife cutter on front plastic face of that area similar in WagonR. Honda city cabin filter easily fit but you need to cover masking tape on filter area after insert cabin filter. i done in mine and its works perfect.

Main issue of Glory CVT transmission is company using low quality CVT fluid, a dealer says they replace CVT fluid with Liqui Moly Top tec 1400 & problem solved.

I don't think company will give a good after sale service on many other little issues which will maybe discover after certain period of time.

Thanks @pwuser152105684933 but if someone sticks with the factory configuration (i.e. he doesn't cut under the dashboard and doesn't insert a cabin filter) then how often the AC will be choked and will need servicing? every year? every 2 year, every 3 years considering our extremely dusty environment?
Is it really an issue or am I unnecessary getting concerned because of the absence of cabin filter?
How much Honda charges for servicing of AC?

I installed a genuine city filter via the method mentioned above. The blower's started making a whining noise, probably because of the additional load due to the filter.. Removed it and the noise has gone.

I think the stealership near me was asking for 8k for AC service and 12k for dual ac service. This was sometime ago, may have increased
