As the production has not started uptil now .it is very much possible the end product might be different then what they are saying now plus as u have said the price also seems to be increasing .so it is better to let it come in market and let other people buy it .i am pretty sure atlas will repeat the blunder of Civic here

So can't you see the unethical practises of Honda atlas. They have booked around 500 cars without showing any unit. Let alone show, they haven't even assembled a single unit.
No confirmed details on full feature set. No confirmed price. Taking bookings and keeping the money for 6 months. Wah wah.
Suzuki and Toyota, haven't started this practise atleast till now. They show their product and price first and then start bookings. Ciaz is the most recent example of that.
I for one have made sure that i won't ever buy a Honda atlas car, and always keep people away from this brand. I thought civic was an exception and forgivable, maybe they did it due to the crowds anticipation, but no they've developed this practise.
Go to hell Honda atlas, until they fix up their business model.

It's very difficult for me to even assume that Atlas can make delivery on time even in case of BRV. Keep in mind they can't do it for City and Civic which has pr7duction now running for months and years.

The fact is that brv appears to be the best product for the price ATM in market but I won't consider before seeing it in person and that's how it should be.

Current international city (e.g. in India) uses the 1.5l EarthDreams petrol engine and other diesel options, IIRC. Current PKDM City is obsolete worldwide.

The current 6th gen city uses the same 5th gen i-vtec 1.5L petrol engine, though there would have been refinements. CVT is the major change.

So there is some talk about now there being no CVT, only manual. Those who booked, did the dealership confirm what transmission is coming?

Jan dyo ghussa. Honda Atlas is selling 2.4 ltr CR-V for above 8 million. Credit goes to Toyota that they brought fortuner which is direct competition to CR-V at 5.2 million. You can buy a civic turbo with the savings.

You guys are lucky.. there is customer from Faisal Abad , booked 1.8 Oriel on 3rd October.. he even made full payment on October 25th.. still no car.. and tentitve date of delivery is March 31, 2017.

He made so many calls and emails and letter to Atlas.. no response. Keep looking for my next blog when I will share his documentary proof.

We phoned Honda Avenue (Islamabad Highway) and they said price (estimate) is 2.341,000. Also said there are not many bookings so if you book now, you can get it early i.e. within the first month. According to them, the official launch is around 2nd week of March.

Btw, if they are going to manufacture it here then does that mean the Honda Brio will also be launched here? Looking at the BRV, my personal opinion is so-so. From some angles, it looks aggressive and SUV-like but from other angles it looks like a station wagon or Avanza type vehicle which is ugly. I particularly do not like the rear design and feel they should have gone with bigger, squarish tail-lights like in Lexus or Land Cruiser to give it a better SUV shape

It's somewhat derived from Mobilio which is a MPV.. nowadays SUV is a mashup and have so much gray area..

HRV/Vezel are Compact crossover using Jazz/ fit platform.

CRV again a crossover or small SUV and. the new generation using Civic platform.

Pilot is a mid size SUV.

I don't think so deliveries are within a month for BRV.. because people already have estimated delivery time of June and July who booked on first day.. while August to end August who booked on 2nd day after booking was open.

Dealer is saying quick becuase they want to sell and trap customers and I suggest no booking until you see it yourself at showroom
