true to an extent. money is always the deciding factor...

the reason for considering type X is that type R 12" is not easily available. and those who do own these and are using them dont want to sell them so easily. i myself would go for 2 type Rs over 1 type x....but only if i find them :S

otherwise, what other options do i have?? MTX subs? but those are only good for highs...type Rs are all rounder subs. best bang for buck indeed...

Lafafa G has two car so he has to build two setups.

Lafafa go for RF p3. They r regarded as dito copy of type r, infact better. I think enerlevel has 2 of them and his rates r always amazing lol

MTX ll be good. bt then dats an spl class. 2ndly 8000 series is expensive.

Type X is a good SUB, I would say its best for the price unless you can get a JL W6 or JBL GTI series for 25K Rs in Pakistan.

It is very hard to make it sound bad.

well my previous review was ignoring the budget factor, like i mentioned to bang it to the extent that you enjoy it, it'll cost about a 150k. now if budget is a constraint, well you can never compare 2 subs of same size with 1.. getting two type R is better than 1 type X.
But, depends if you're making this system for your ownself or just to bang in the parking lots...? if you want for yourself get type X....!! I've heard it play, i've tested it bad... This baby can play every node... separate.. quality...!!
Anyhow, rest is upto you..!! But unless you're going to power Type X with something comparable please i beg you not to get it.. Dunn plz dunn dunn dunn put it on some damn solid audio..... get a branded amp for it..!

i have tested solid audio against many branded companies and i dont find anything bad with them.

@Lafafa: I'll recommend you to take ener's advice cuz he has used that sub, many of the members comment without even seeing the sub (baat baat pe hero banay wali baat :p)

I've heard type x twice, one in my frnd's car and other in ener's car..my personal advice wud be two type r 12's over type x..but it doesn't mean that type x is ****, it also has a very smooth response but if you wanna enjoy the best of both worlds then type r is the way to go

yar w12prs is a great SQ sub. nothing wrong with it. that is for my other car (corolla)...i dont like putting heavy LOUD sound systems in a new car...rattles the $hit out of them...hehe. so no can do!

this is going to go in my trusty old charade...that is like my little boom box (but dont worry, i wont put any silly woofer boxes on the rear seat - the install will still be pretty stealth

...going to upgrade its alternator (a big project in itself - since its a diesel engine, crammed space...so a challenge to install a bigger alternator)...

have u ever listened to a properly tuned 13w7 powered by a Branded Amplifer ?..2 type R are no match...

I havnt properly tuned my 13w7 n powered it to about 60% power of my amp @ 3ohm still i bet it can take 2 type R anytime anyday...

Type X is surely no match to properly tuned 2 type R But to 13w7 no match

hmm So since the Coil height is bigger , then it means it will hit better LOWS
the Excursion is more controlled

• mounting depth is decreases
  that means the distance from sub behind and back wall is more then previous model
  again , this thing enhance low deep bass
