Total "kharcha" clutch plate set is worth 4800 rs, thats all i could make out
If you are looking for an overhaul, find a good mechanic. A professionsl mech is all that matters
Ask him to overhaul without opening the ac compressor bolts. It will save you the cost of ac gas etc. Ask him to accompany you for purchasing of parts.
Total cost in my case was 32k. It can be till 18k if your engine bloc doesnt req bore. Mazdoori of mech was 6k. 17k worth of parts. 7k for kharadia. And 3k in misc. If you v any question feel free to ask.
no thermostat needle should be on half . get ready for a new overhaul or get thermostat
After overhaul complete 800km or so at max 40kph. Max 2 people on board. After 800km get tuning tapet oil change and thermostat valve plus fan on switch
One more thing. The mixture is kept a little rich to cool off the engine. That might give you a little weird feel in low gear. Live with it for initial 800km
Why did it require an overhaul? What was mileage and which oil you used previously??
Car is around 200000 km driven. I used havoline 20W50.
Got the eng overhauled coz of Oil reduction (1 litre after spp 1600km) white smoke from exhaust. Moreover the engine was "burning" engine oil to pitch black colour.
