Yeah I noted. The engine oil used maybe fake as usually this black thing is due to long change intervals or fake oils..

Yup. Fake oil is a real issue. I v never exceeded the change interval.

This is interior of my car. Same 2006 model. Its always golden as I use 100% genuine oils and change under 4k kms.

Best is to go to branded places like Metro or Hyperstar and buy oil from them. Its company delivered 100% original. Or order online from Zic. All market is flooded with fake oils. They ruin engines

What was the old and new piston size?
Don't use 20W50 engine oil now.
SGO Premium 10W40 is a good oil and suits these cars. Buy it from reputed shop.
I am using it in my Khyber after engine overhaul. Covered 25,000 Kms after overhaul and it doesn't consume a single drop of engine oil even after driving it on motorways with full time A/C.

Its hard to trust SGO or any "genuine" suzuki part. I m thinking of caltex spi fully synthetic type. Any comment on that?

Old piston was standard size now its 0 50

Don't go for synth oils for these old carburated cars. They are very old school engines. The post above is correct. Use SGO but Premium (not Ultimate) as its API SG which is best for flat tappet engines. Buy from any Suzuki 3s directly. I used same for my mehran, cultus efi and now Baleno

Your mechanic is a big idiot leaving engine runing for long after overhaul is at best piston ring torture

Also you were not vitcim of fake oil as you thing you were victim of no t.vavle with your engine running dead cold all the time you wasted all your money spent on engine oil

Also it is a very good pratice to change oil ventilation rubber pipes every two years as they tend to get hard as plastic (hard rubber pipes will reduce engine oil life) these rubber parts are dirty cheap not more than 200rs in market

I asked my mechanic the same. He said engine shoul be settled without any load (idle running being the best option) sounded logical

moreover i consulted a few reliable mechanics and friends all agreed on idle running

Thirdly i v followed him blindly with a premise that if the engine develops any problem i can grab him by the neck

Thermostat valve is not the culprit. Generally fake Engine oil or overdue oil change causes the engine to give away. This is my understanding Experts can comment

Guys i also own an alto vxr 2011 total running till now is 73000 .i was using sgo ultimate but it was consuming alot of oil now i have shifted to sgo premium after reading above comments.is it good desicion

I have recently got my Alto 2006's engine overhauled.
Kept engine start on idle for about 6 hours on first day.
Now how much more time do I need to keep engine running on idle on 2nd day?

Idling is not req on second day. Drive car with max 2 passengers and without ac. Follow the schedule given by ustad ge for next oil change

He has said to cover 1000 kms on this oil and then change it.
My question is ke car ko 1000 kms tak he 50 kph pay chalana hai aur minimun load rakhna hai?
