Was stuck in traffic for 1.5hrs, crawling few meters at a time.. noted few things of which i need to know what to do;

• horn stops working, and works seldom
• heat gauge stays at middle but AC stops cooling well and trips even with slightest of high rpm
• when crawling and stopping again and again, car vibrates when i release clutch slowly.

Get the relay checked, actually it has known as three pin relay aka cutout near the washer fluid bottle cap.

heat gauge stays at middle but AC stops cooling well and trips even with slightest of high rpm

it is almost fine, ac normally stops working at idle.

With ac i believe.

When ac compressor grew older it performance decreases, so when you are at idle rpm is low so it does not work, at idle press a little bit of accelerator to increase the rpm and see the difference.

Why do you want to change seats? For more comfort or due to dirty/damaged fabric?
If they are damaged then you can repair them easily by re-foaming, re-cushioning, new seat covers or new upholstery works etc.

For comfort.... When I sit i am tilted towards left and same for the back, tilted back towards left

I think re-cushion\foam will be a temporary solution cause after sometime it will settle\press down again. ... I am confused.. will it be worth it?

Less than 2k km after oil change, the oil is black.... What can cause this and what should be done to correct it.

Black oil means that it has cleaned the engine, let it do it's work

my friend, its an office car, why spend so much money into it. Try to go for low-cost solutions to improve your comfort while you have this car. InshaAllah your next car will be much more comfy .
aj kal seat cushioning ka bohot next level kaam ho raha hai and they can actually transform seats which is way cheaper than new seats.

agar new seat chahiye it'll set u back 10k+ if u go for Alto/KEI similar seats. Cushioning will be few grand only.

I've kept this car for around 10years so i kind of know it very well.

For Engine, try to go for an oil that matches the milage of the car. Get the engline flushed once before investing in an expensive oil.. for AC, Alto AC is just "okay" it wont cool like a honda or toyota. What you can do is get the unit services and keep condenser etc very clean. "compressor kamzor hai" is the usual story by all mechanics, just keep running the compressor until it fails and then change.

change the oil at lesser kms intervals. previously the engine oil was used for longer periods making the engine internals black which is now getting out.

as for the seats, get the cushion work done. believe me i have done this in my new alto 2022 as driving side seat foam was broken from inside. it costed me 2k but now my back support as well as hip support is perfect,

you can contact Mr. Iftikhar (0315-3784425). he sits on jehangir road left side when coming from teen hatti to guru mandir. goto him on early times near 10-11 in the mornign. he is the perfect guy for the job. actually he does seats of old vw, mercedes, datsuns, mazda etc to original specs. he is bit costly but his work is classic.

before doing ac work, make sure your car is behaving perfectly. have u sorted the steering and rpm issue??
