SCAMMERS!
I'm writing an extensive review on these guys so people going to them in the future can be cautious.
My car was a 2007 Alto VXR in Non Accidented, very well kept and good condition.
First of all, I'll be listing down the stuff I told them to do on my car:
- Paint without poteen etc. below pillars for a fresher look.
- Installation of Second Gen 2013-14 K6a with 4 Speed O/D gear.
- Genuine Japanese Power Windows.
- Installation of Power Steering. (EPS)
- Installation of Sound Dampening Sheet in Interior. (Sheets provided by me)
Now, these guys promised to deliver the car in about 10-15 days which they did not deliver. They took an entire month, and when i used to ask them about it their answer would be "Dekhen garree pay tasalli se kaam houta hai tabhi behtareen tayar hougi garree warna jaldi may kaam kharab houga". I said okay you can take your time but I want the car to be driving perfectly in the end.
And let me tell you I used to visit the car in their workshop almost daily and the car just used to stand there. Garree pay kaam kuch zayada hi tasalli se houraha tha kiyonke progress was zero. They actually prepared the entire car in like last 4-5 days before delivery.
Afterwards, koi aik maheeny se bhi zayada ke baad jab final delivery lene gaya garree ki toh usme chotay chotay bohot se maslay thay, Auto Radiator Fan nahi chal raha tha, brakes may masla tha, gear lever ki lights nahi chal rahi thin, meter ki lights may issue, and countless other small things which i got done in my physical presence aur raat ke 10-11 bajay garree deliver hui.
The very first problem in the car was a very disturbing vibration and sound coming from my car, garree itni rough thi ke aise lagta tha tractor chala raha hoon literally. I told them about this issue they said "Thorra arsa chalaeyn first tuning k baad set houjayega masla aur na hua toh hum kardenge."
Aik week gari chlane k baad mai first tuning k liye gaya inke paas, they changed the plugs, oil etc aur bill koi 11k bnaya inhone. Bahir se oil change karwao toh 5k may houjata hai aur plugs although cost around 7-8k (irridium good quality ones) which also failed on me after a month. Now the distrubing sound I was talking about they couldn't fix it. Inn nikammay mechanics kou yahee samajh nahi aa rahi thi ke yeh awaaz hai kis cheez ki. Oh and I forgot my gearbox had issues too, na hi O/D ka button (they could never fix it for me) kaam kar raha tha aur na hi L aur 2 gears kaam kr rhe the jo k baad may resolve kardiya inhoune. And the fuel average I got so far was 11-12 km/l.
After this, I kept driving the car with that disturbing sound and fuel average k bhai shayad alteration hoti hi aise hai and it is what is is until One day, all of a sudden my car broke down in the middle of the road. I towed the car to the nearest roadside mechanic and he told me my fuel pump is faulty. I got it fixed for around 5-6k.
Mazay ki baat yeh hai ke woh roadside mechanic bohot hi normal garriyon ka kaam karne wala banda tha with no experience in 660cc cars or their conversions, he deals with mehran and FX taxis mostly. Even he was able to diagnose the disturbing sound issue, he told me aap ki garree ka engine sahi se mounts pay bethaya hi nahi hai jiss bhi jahil ne iska engine change kia hai aur engine body ke sath touch houraha hai jiski wajah se yeh sound hai. Literally garree may itni gandi vibration aur goonj thi ke drive karne ka dil tak nahi karta tha.
I got the engine removed aur dobara naye brackets banwa k maine ye masla hal karwaya which costed me another 5-6k. After this, the same mechanic told me there are a few sensors missing in my car like exhaust sensors etc. which can improve the fuel average. I took it to an electrician who told me yeh engine beshak 2013-14 wala hai lekin iskou start pooranay 2007-8 walay tareeke se kia hai aur iske sensors bhi missing hain. I paid another 4-5k for sensors and got them installed. Uske baad my car's ECU failed and I got it changed for another 10k. Iss sab ke baad my fuel average improved to about 15 km/l. I was okay with it ke haraam ka toh khaya hai inhoune lekin chalou bas garree Allah karay abb sahi chalti rahay.
4 months passed, and now my gearbox failed. I got it changed for 50k aur pata yeh chala ke inn jahilon ne engine 2013-14 wala lagaya hai aur gearbox 2007-8 wali garree ka. And now my engine is weak and gives smoke. I trusted these bastards and they put an extremely faulty engine in my car jiski aik aik cheez may masla tha shuru din say. Pehle inhoune mujhe khuar kia aik maheena garree late di, uske baad maine local workshops pay alag zalalat kaati, in total abhi tak inse kaam karwanay ke baad maine garree pay 80-90k aur laga diya hai aur abb engine bhi weak hai. Inhe na installation aati hai, na wiring, na hi cheez sahi dete hain.
And on top of that, inke rates are way too high. They'll charge you 200k for changing the engine, speedometer, and gear lever for which 5 months ago market may loag 150k tak charge kar rahay thay without original engine. And the original engine sells for 25-30k.
This has not just happened to me, it has happened with another person jiss se meri inke workshop may mulaqaat hui aur woh bechara bhi aise hi rou raha tha.
Shahab Shah (owner of this workshop) knows nothing about mechanical stuff bas upar upar ka pata hai woh mujhe shayad uss se zayada hi pata houga as a car enthusiast. These guys talk about their work quality in their videos ke bahrir mechanics ka kaam acha nahi tabhi woh sastay may karte hain but trust me even a roadside mechanic knows more than these assholes.
